About
A lifelong member of the American Dental Association, Dr. Mayher attained the coveted Mastership status in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2002, and is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists and the Academy of Dentistry International. He was voted One of South Jersey's Best Dentists by SJ Magazine in 2016. Dr. Mayher was the 2007-2008 national President of the Academy of General Dentistry, an organization of over 35,000 dentists, most noted for providing quality continuing education for dentists. Additional professional endeavors include service as President of the Southern Dental Society of New Jersey and President of the New Jersey Academy of General Dentistry. He was a member of the New York City Dental ID Team following the September 11 attacks. Dr. Mayher co-chaired the Academy of General Dentistry's National Outreach project in June 2012, where 325 patients in West Philadelphia received pro bono dental services at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Dr Mayher also teaches at the University of Pennsylvania Dental School.
