About
William M. Aerni, DDS was born and raised in Northeast Ohio and graduated from St. Ignatius High School. Thereafter, he attended Baldwin Wallace College. He graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1988 and is licensed with the Ohio State Dental Board. In 1996 he became certified at the Midwest Implant Institute at Case Western Reserve University after participating in a surgical and prosthetic endosseous implant externship program. He earned the prestigious Robert James Award in recognition of the extern who personally devoted and dedicated himself to the pursuit of excellence in general dentistry and implantology. Dr. Aerni's first implant restorative patient, treated twenty-three years ago in dental school was his father - who still maintains his implants and excellent oral health today. The Academy of Gp Orthodontics is where he has furthered his studies in adult and child orthodontics in 2003. Dr. Aerni resides in Strongsville with his wife Sue and their five children, living close to his Strongsville Dental Office. He is active within his Strongsville community, belonging to both the Chamber of Commerce and Strongsville Rotary where he was named a Paul Harris Fellow in 2004. For the past seven years he has enjoyed coaching football for the Catholic Youth Organization.
