About
Dr. Leffler is proud to call himself a Buckeye. Born in Canton, Ohio, Dr. Leffler attended Jackson Local Schools and excelled in swimming and other extracurricular activities in high school. He moved to Columbus in 2004 to attend The Ohio State University, pursuing a degree in Chemistry and soon found out he wanted to pursue dentistry. He was accepted to Ohio State's College of Dentistry early. Upon graduation, Dr. Leffler did a one year residency in general dentistry, focusing on treating special needs, pediatrics, and sedation.Dr. Leffler is also an avid lifelong learner in dental continuing education and meets regularly in Columbus and annually in Scottsdale, Arizona, studying complex restorative options for the dental patient through his membership in Spear Education, a national dental continuing education community. He is a member of the Columbus Dental Society, Ohio Dental Association, and the American Dental Association as well. When Dr. Leffler is away from his work at Creekside Family Dental, he works as part time clinical faculty at The Ohio State University's College of Dentistry educating dental students in the clinical and preclinical areas. What he enjoys most about his job at Ohio State is being able to bring real-life dentistry into the academic world and helping students bring compassion and empathy to the dental chair. Dr. Leffler lives in Clintonville with his wife, Morgan, and three sons Warren, Philip and Luke. They host a weekly Bible study in their home and both enjoy reading and studying the Bible alone and with others. Morgan is a nurse by trade but has chosen to be at home raising their budding family.
