About
Dr. William McMaugh grew up in Stratford, Connecticut. After serving in the Air Force, he completed his schooling in California. He received his bachelor's of science degree from California Polytechnic University, Pomona, and his dental degree from the University of Southern California. He practiced in California for several years before moving back east to be closer to family. After his return to the area, Dr. McMaugh taught at Temple University and maintained a private practice in Abington. He also had a practice in Lederach, and three years ago, he combined the two to open the office in Harleysville, where he now resides. Dr. McMaugh is a lifelong learner and continues to update and expand his knowledge of new treatments and techniques. He loves working in the field of dentistry because he believes it is the perfect mix of the applied sciences, engineering, and art. "I love my job most when I help patients realize that they can receive the treatment they need without fear or discomfort." He truly enjoys helping others and holds himself to the highest standard of excellence in dental care. His team recently traveled to Guatemala to participate in a week-long humanitarian/mission trip to provide free dental treatments for the needy indigenous population.
