I have been a patient of Dr. Ward for several years. I always admired her professionalism and knowledge. I called the office to cancel my appointment because something came up this morning. the receptionist asked me was I aware of the cancellation policy I told her no since I have never had to cancel. she stated its a fee if you cancel within 48 hours before your appointment. I explain to her that I just found out this morning that I could not get an early dismissal. she was still firm that I would be charge a fee or she could change my appointment. I end of keeping the appointment thank God my manager was okay with me getting off early after I explained the situation. unfortunately, this will be my last appointment with Dr. ward I refuse to be bullied into keeping an appointment that I tried to cancel the day before. I could understand if I was a no show. I guess it's okay when they have to change your appointment due to an emergency. The customer does not have the same right.

On three occasions I experienced horrible treatment from the staff.The first time I was sitting in the treatment chair and was the dental assistant was told by the office manager that she needed to see me in her office before treatment. I was then told that the treatment I was going to need was going to cost in excess of $5000.00 out pocket. It ended up being $2600 after claims were filed. I waited 13 months before asking for a refund of monies that had not been applied to my care. They did refund me the money within 48 hours. Second instance was a little over a year later. After I got to the office I was told I had reached my annual limit of cleanings and that cleaning (4th for the year) would be out of pocket. I opted, after the office staff Nina suggested that I come back the beginning of the next benefit year. I come back the next calendar year and I’m told I have a past due balance from three months ago. I never was mailed a bill, e-mailed, or called about this bill proces

Dr. Henry-Ward helped me overcome a fear I had of the dentist. I was afraid of getting a filling done on one of my teeth for quite some time. She made it easy for me to relax and get the procedure done. She made me feel comfortable.
