Dr. Yamen Akhras is a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He also received certification in health care management from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.Dr. Akhras enjoys general dentistry and strives, with his team of specialists, to offer his patients all the services they need under one roof.After completing his dental implant training at the Misch Institute and the Urban Regeneration Institute, Dr. Akhras has limited his practice specialty Periodontics, specializing in treating gum disease, implant placement and gum/bone grafting. We also offer wisdom tooth removal and orthodontics with conventional braces. This includes Invisalign treatment.In-office IV sedation (twilight sedation) and General Anesthesia are offered at his Orland Park location.Dr. Akhras has traveled extensively in North America to bring back up-to-date dental knowledge to his patients with the goal of offering dental services that meet or exceed the standard of care.He currently resides with his wife and two boys in the Southwest suburb area and is very active in the community.
