A Kids Place Dentistry for Children

I am so grateful for the wonderful experience my daughter had during her first visit at A Kids Place today. After a traumatic experience at our previous clinic, she had developed significant dental anxiety. However, Dr. Do and the entire staff made such an effort to ensure she felt comfortable and at ease. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was calm, and welcoming.

Dr. Do was incredibly informative, patiently explaining every step of the process in a way that was easy for my daughter to understand. By the end of the appointment, she was actually looking forward to her next visit, something I never thought would happen! We are so relieved to have found a dental office where my daughter feels safe and truly cared for. I highly recommend A kids Place to anyone seeking a positive, compassionate experience for their children.

We have been going to a Kids Place Dentistry for 15 years. All of our kids go here and always look forward to seeing their dentist. Dr. McDonald and all of the staff are so lovely and have a way of knowing how to make the kids comfortable as well as give them all of the positive reinforcement that makes them wild about brushing and flossing at home.

He is preventative in his approach - making recommendations about diet, toothpastes, and procedures looking down the road for kids based on their checkups. He made some recommendations which we were not sure about years ago to improve the look of our daughter's smile - she had spots on her teeth. He said let's keep an eye and talk about it if it seems right for you in the future. For the past year we noticed she hid her smile, and I asked her why.

She told us she didn't like how her teeth looked so we knew it was time to schedule the icon procedure Dr. McDonald had recommended prior. The results were amazing, and she is smiling with confidence. Highly recommend this practice as your children's dentist!

10/10 recommend. This is our third dentist for my two young kids and they are incredible. Especially if your kids have some fears about the dentist. They take so much care and go above and beyond the norm to make sure that you feel that your child is well taken care of. My 5 year old just had dental surgery at the Renton location and Dr McDonald really took a lot of care to make sure he felt comfortable.

He also called my cell phone to check on my son at the end of the day when we got home. We also had a regular visit at the west Seattle location and he had a great time. Keep in mind, this was a child that spent the last several years at other dentists barely opening his mouth. You can’t go wrong!!!

I’ve been bringing my children to A Kid’s Place for 3 years. All the staff have been wonderful! They are patient with my young children as they warm up to having their teeth cleaned and the balloon animals after cleaning are a big hit! Dr. McDonald is very patient and does a great job explaining to my three year old what he is doing. Highly recommend A Kid’s Place!
