I am extremely disappointed with the care provided by this dentistry (A Reason to Smile Dentistry). My 6-year-old son had a filling done here, and we followed up diligently with his 6-month check-ups and cleanings, including the most recent one in November. Despite this, the tooth that was filled last year has now deteriorated to the point that it needs to be extracted!!! This situation raises serious concerns about the thoroughness of the examinations and the quality of care provided. If the tooth had been properly monitored during these regular visits, this unfortunate outcome could have been avoided. I was told that a dental X-ray should have been taken to assess the issue earlier.

When I asked why this wasn’t done, I was told it was due to the extra cost of the X-ray! No one ever discussed this with me or explained its importance. I have two insurance plans that cover most of the costs, so this should not have been a barrier. If this had been communicated clearly, we could have made an informed decision and possibly prevented my son’s tooth from deteriorating further. As a parent, I trusted Dr. Khodae/Dr.

Khani to prioritize my child’s dental health, but this experience has left me frustrated and deeply disappointed. I hope they improve their communication, diagnostic processes, and overall patient care to ensure no other families go through a similar experience.

I’ve been to several dentists since moving to Canada, but by far, Dr. Khodaei is the best. He is patient, attentive, and truly takes the time to listen to his patients. When he identifies a problem, he thoroughly explains the issue, the treatment process, and what to expect afterward, ensuring that you feel informed and comfortable.

I highly recommend A Reason to Smile Dentistry! Not only they are incredibly skilled , but they also create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes every visit a great experience. I had a really tricky tooth issue that multiple dentists tried to fix, but the problem kept coming back. Dr.

Khodaei took the time to carefully examine my tooth, found the best solution, and fixed it properly. It’s been solid ever since! I highly recommend it to anyone!
