Terrible experience. I felt like more could have been done to save my tooth during a retreat root canal, instead they gave up when the worst outcome would have been to lose my tooth anyway. This was a lack of care and persistence. I ended up having to go to another specialist to have my tooth pulled the same day. In addition to being upset about this, I received a bill for an attempted procedure.

I could see why my insurance didn’t cover this, and I wasn’t happy about the receptionist’s tone. I will relay this to my referral. I regret the day I visited this office.

I was a difficult case and I felt so awful because my root canal took exponentially longer and was much more involved than the average patient. Due to a previous jaw surgery my anatomy makes it almost impossible for me to get numb from Novacaine shots. Five or six or maybe seven shots and an hour of exceptional patience and I was finally able to have the root canal done. Most dentists are never even able to get me fully numb. Dr.

Pellicano and his staff never showed even the slightest bit of annoyance or frustration. They were absolutely wonderful and I had no issues with the root canal afterwards. I even came back for a second root canal a month later! Highly recommended.

Dr Ira zohn did today my root canal, I have to say that he is the best. He explained everything in detail and put me at ease through out the whole procedure to the point where I didn't need any novacain. Thank you Dr zohn.
