Dr. Aico and the dental hygienists are great. My issue is with the clerical staff. They don’t know what they are doing. They make many mistakes in charging, they don’t know what insurance plans are covered or not.

It’s very frustrating to deal with them. On top of it all, they were twice rude on the phone. They made me feel like a burden. I would go elsewhere if I was covered but I’m stuck.

I’ve been here a couple times although the dentist and hygienist were very nice the billing sucks. I’ve had my teeth cleaned there a few times and with the dental discount plan I have they never charged me. Fool that I am thinking the dentist is being kind to me and not charging me, and I was prepared to pay at the time of service, they told me no charge. Now all of sudden I have a balance going back to July. They didn’t tell me anything about a balance when I went recently and paid for that visit at the time of service. They never mentioned it and never sent me a bill. Since July. Don’t go there. The team is nice but they will screw you with the billing. Update: I finally got a hold of someone who handles the billing for Aico’s dental. I asked for bill and asked why they didn’t send me a bill. The rep told me “Your insurance denied the claim.

You don’t have dental insurance. What you have is a discount plan. ” Duh. I knew that. I said don’t you have anyway working in A. R. ? It took you all this time to realize it’s not dental insurance? Send me a bill. They sent me a bill with a bogus log in that I couldn’t use and didn’t recognize my account number. So I called again. The rep offered to take my payment over the phone. You sent me a bill with a log in to pay that’s not even for this company or this bill and you want my credit card number. Umm NO.

They sent me another bill about a month later. New log in pay information. Different info all together. And they tried to charge me late fees. NO! I logged in and paid what I owed. I’ve referred people there. Family. They got screwed on billing also. What a scam.

I have been coming to Dr. Aico since I was a child to well into college. Dr. Aico and the staff are nice but I have had numerous problems with the quality of care provided at the clinic. - I have had multiple cavities filled at this clinic and have several issues because of them. Most recently, I had a molar filled by an assistant which was drilled too deep and then was left sensitive, weak, and jagged. I was unable to return to have this corrected, as my health insurance changed and Aico was no longer in network. I have been struggling with tooth sensitivity and pain for over a year now. - Because of the above cavity failure, I have been dealing with impacted food in between my teeth. Despite brushing and flossing religiously, I have developed periodontal issues at the site of said molar (photo attached).

- I struggle with teeth grinding and TMJ pain and had made an appointment with Dr. Aico. This appointment was a waste of time. She took two minutes to confirm the issue then told me there was nothing to be done. I asked for any information regarding advice for care, causes, or next steps and was quickly brushed off. - Dr. Aico is a bit rough and fast with her cleanings. She told me to raise my hand if i felt uncomfortable/pain at any point and that she would stop for a break. Multiple instances my hand was ignored for as long as possible which made me uncomfortable. Overall Dr.

Aico is superficially nice and professional, however, there was a lack of empathy and care that has negatively impacted the quality of my health. I am leaving this review because I have lasting effects from failed care that are still not resolved. UPDATE The filling on the molar previously mentioned had chipped (photos attached) and I have gone to a new dentist for correction. It was confirmed that multiple fillings were incorrectly applied/shaped and three of my fillings had to be redone. I am feeling a lot better and my TMJ pain has actually subsided after my filling corrections. Please ensure your dentists do comprehensive exams, X-rays, and numbing during procedures. Fillings should not hurt during or after the procedure. This was a ridiculous ongoing issue that should have never happened.

Me and my two kids were just seen here Jan 10, we were told no one had cavaties. Tonight she pulled her tooth out with a GIANT cavity on it. I will be calling our insurance company too as none of us felt like our teeth were even cleaned correctly the day we left. And clearly weren’t feeling that way for no resson. SHAME ON YALL
