I have been a patient at this dental practice for over 30 years, first with Dr. Chapman, later with Dr. Isaacs and Schaeffer. This week I had a dental emergency, having broken off most of one of my front teeth, which made for a rather horrifying reflection in the mirror! However, I was amazed that not only were they able to fit me in the next day, but in less than 24 hours, Dr.

Ortega was able to "build" me a temporary new tooth! Amazing! I walked out of there able to smile again and with a huge sense of relief. All of the staff at Al Dente, from those at the desk, to hygienists and assistants and of course the dentists, have always been of the highest calibre, I feel fortunate to be a patient there.

Dr.Shaffer is excellent! She treated me with care and understanding throughout the appointment and took the time to explain every little detail to keep me at ease. We were delighted to find this dental practice that still maintains some level of precautions to keep patients and clinicians healthy - including two large HEPA machines in each patient room. Everyone we met at the office was lovely. Dentist and hygienists were kind, friendly and full of information.

My 10YO son and I both said we learned a lot during our visits, which was new for us. He had a tooth filled and it was such a positive experience that he asked when he gets to go back to the dentist! It wasn't bells and whistles and gimmicks (thinking about our former clinic with the indoor playground and arcade games and popcorn machine) - it was just calm and kind professionals who knew what they were doing and explained what they were doing. I can't say enough good things about Dr Schaeffer and her team!
