I’ve gotten a lot of work done here, dentist is decent (hence the 2 stars). I have to schedule my appointments as early as possible in the morning and they know this. I’ve never missed an appointment, I’ve rescheduled once days in advance. I showed up at 8am this morning 07/16/25 for my appointment. They said they “canceled” my appointment and rescheduled it for someone else because there was a “lack of confirmation” I have proof I sent not one but TWO confirmation messages. I also received a confirmation message from them this morning confirming my 8am slot. I am very disappointed.
They say they cannot accommodate my appointment time since they have all spots filled now. Then I leave and 15 minutes later they call to inform me of an “open” spot, at this point I’m pulling into my driveway. VERY unprofessional. I’ve paid hundreds of dollars to them out of pocket, and to have my appointment “canceled” with no apology is unacceptable. I will not be returning.

I went to American Dental this week and can say that I have nothing but positive things to say. Damaris did my cleaning and Shy did my x-rays. They were both fantastic. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and efficient. The doctor had a great bedside manner.
I will be honest when I say that I was a little apprehensive going through with my appointment because of some of the reviews. I'm glad I did because they absolutely have a client moving forward. I honestly cannot say enough nice things about my visit this week. The friendliness, the efficiency, and the interactions were top notch. Keep up the great work and I'll see you in six months!

This was my first experience using a dental office in Delaware and my experience was great. Everyone I came in contact with was respectful and actively listened to my issue. From the young lady who did my x-rays to Judy who took her time to explain to me my x-rays, they were all amazing.
What I loved the most was the fact that my dentist took the time to come up with a plan for me and my appointment is only a few days away. I’m Thank you for making my experience great and one to remember.

Everyone was so friendly and kind. They took the time to answer questions. The atmosphere is nice with the music and fish tanks. They even managed to get me in the same day as my step daughter!
