I wish I could give this office a better review. Dr. James G. Anderson did an excellent job treating my fractured jaw and preparing my upper jaw for an implant, and for that, I’m very grateful. However, the customer service—especially when it comes to insurance and billing—is extremely disappointing. From the beginning, I tried to provide both my medical and dental insurance information, since my case was due to an accidental fall and covered under both.

The office refused to take my medical insurance card, and what followed was a series of misfiled claims, repeated errors, and a complete lack of follow-through. It got to the point where my insurance company had to intervene and escalate the issue to their reconsideration department. Thankfully, insurance did end up covering what was owed—but now the office is refusing to reimburse me for the out-of-pocket expenses I paid before the insurance situation was sorted out. To make matters worse, the office will not provide a clear invoice or breakdown of charges, and they refused to do a medical pre-authorization for procedures—something that’s critical in cases like mine. Bottom line: while Dr. Anderson’s clinical work was great, the office’s handling of insurance and billing is incredibly frustrating.

If you choose to go here, make sure you thoroughly understand your insurance coverage and prepare to advocate for yourself. This office will not do it for you. This matter is still ongoing.
