I am a caseworker who finds providers to care for my client's medical conditions. I can honestly say that Artisan Smiles is the worst provider I have found in York. Not just the worst dental office, but the worst of all medical providers.

They don't understand how insurance works, they don't write their own notes, and they overbook to the point that it is standing room only in the very small waiting room. This place needs reported.

The ortho side has no orthodontist working there. You don’t know how your treatments going at all. The assistant places the brackets which only orthodontists are qualified to do. There’s also no dental charting done on the ortho side which is a huge insurance liability.

The oral surgeon is beyond rude. I was prescribed no pain meds after my wisdom teeth extraction, I had to call and say I needed something during than OTC due to the soreness. Would give zero star if I could. Completely unprofessional

Don’t do it! This place was disgusting! The first thing I noticed was the musty smell, then saw the grime and dirt everywhere. Made the mistake of using the restroom - soap dispenser is broken, dried feces on the wall! After hearing the woman behind the desk tell a patient that they only extract wisdom teeth ‘2 at a time’ ?? and hearing another patient complain about waiting for 2 hours for her SCHEDULED surgery, we walked out.

Wouldn’t wish this place on my worst enemy!

This Artisan Smiles is by far one of the worst facilities you can go for. They do not care about their patients, have absurd wait times and a lobby too small for the clientele. So, here are some notes if you're planning to have a dental appointment here. What time they give you for your appointment, is NOT your appointment start time. It's the time for you to arrive to WAIT for when there's an availability. The workers? I have no clue, I didn't get to see anyone besides one person managing the desk; with a line that could of easily gone outside.

It took 40 minutes to get to the front desk to start paperwork. By that time, the line had almost doubled from when I had entered. One of the worst dental offices I've ever been at. . this facility needs an entire overhaul of its structure if it wants to better itself.
