I have never had a more pleasant dentist visit in my life. I have seen family dentists for years and not received the level of service I received on my first visit to this location. They addressed my concerns and I walked out within an hour with a thorough exam and treatment plan that was all done with state of the art imaging equipment. I had previously been seeing a dentist for 4 months trying to get a denture made at another dentist because my current one is severely broken.

And the quality and appearance were horrible. It took four months to end up with no finished product. So 4/22 my first appointment. I go on Monday for impressions and I’ve been promised my new denture by 5/8.

I will update with before and after photos and an experience update. I want to say a special thank you to Shelby my dental assistant and office manager Kayla for both making me feel so comfortable and not judged at all for my previous poor dental care. Everyone at the office was kind and professional and every single person seemed like they went the extra mile to not only make sure I received the services I require, but also to assist me in being a nice state of comfort during a stressful time.

Although they have Excellent diagnostics as a first time patient they were extremely thorough and professional, my extraction experience wasn't. After having my appointment messed up the actual extraction was extremely painful. It was obvious that the DR was working on more than 1 patients at a time. There was no TLC when injections of novacaine were performed. He just started sticking the needles in with no topical numbing of the gums.

Also after a difficult extraction I was sent home with just ibuprofen!!! Dentistry in the USA is abismal and this place exemplifies this. The offices are dirty, unsanitary Update my appointment was not confirmed because they said I owed 100$ even though I signed the bill which said that I owed nothing so now my 1pm appointment was cancelled and I'm still waiting for my new 4pm appointment after my day was completely wasted I'm still waiting and it's 4:20pm. I will not be returning to this place. If you screw up the small stuff. .

I usually don’t leave reviews, but I felt it was important to share my recent experience. I came to Aspen Dental due to increasing tooth pain, hoping for some clarity and relief. They took X-rays, 3D scans, and measured the distance between my teeth but did not provide any treatment or pain relief until August. After the appointment, my pain significantly worsened and became unbearable, which felt like more than just coincidence.

I called back the next day, desperate for help, and was told their endodontist wouldn’t be available until the following week but I could come in to have the tooth pulled instead. This felt like a rushed suggestion, especially since a root canal had been mentioned as a possibility the day before.

Had a great experience at Aspen Dental in Hamden. I was able to get an appointment quickly. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Kayla went over my treatment plan and was a pleasure to work with she explained everything clearly and made me feel comfortable. Highly recommend!
