If you’re looking for a new dentist, look elsewhere. I was extremely disheartened as I had nothing but a great experience at the Aspen Dental in Concord and thought all locations were held to the same standard, but boy was I wrong. The office staff is extremely unprofessional. I had a dental cleaning scheduled recently that was an hour long appointment. We did x-rays for 5 minutes, the hygienist completed the initial gum check for 10 minutes, and then we waited around for 45 MINUTES since she said she needed “approval” before continuing the cleaning. I knew I was going to need a 2 part cleaning, but still we waited. She even took the time to take a personal call during my appointment.

She just sat around without even checking in on when we could get approval to start. After the dentist finally came back and said we were good to get started, the hygienist then proceeded to tell me my hour was up and I’d have to come back for my cleaning. They refused to do the cleaning!! I don’t care how long it takes, the purpose of the appointment was a teeth cleaning and I should expect to receive that service. Their solution? Come back at 5 o’clock to complete the rest. Absolutely insane. If they weren’t sitting around and wasting my time the majority of the appointment, the cleaning would’ve been completed. Then when I came back again for the first part of the cleaning, the dental assistant brought me back and said I’d be seen shortly.

I waited for 25 minutes without any update from anyone. With fear that I wouldn’t be seen again, I needed an update. I could hear the assistants gossiping in the back about their weekend plans, yet, they can’t find the time to actually do their jobs to let me know when I should expect to be seen. The dentist himself was extremely professional both times and if I could rate him alone it would be a 5/5, but the office staff, hygienists, and assistants need some serious training in professionalism and communication. Don’t go to this location.

I don't like going to the dentist. I don't know if anyone really LIKES going, but everyone at Aspen Dental in the Monroe Office put my fears to rest. They answered all of my questions and were very helpful. I am excited about my upcoming appointment on my way to a perfect smile.

I scheduled online and got an appointment first thing the next morning. I went in as a new patient and received great care from check in to check out. They had time available to do my cleaning and provide a care plan that was affordable and timely. The staff was friendly and professional. Angela is an amazing, professional hygienist. Dr. Parikh was awesome as well.
