My experience at Aspen Dental of Ephrata has been nothing short of extraordinary. I can't think of another dental practice I have ever seen that one could call and go from 10/10 pain one day to pain-free and on the way to healing in just a few days. From the office staff, to the assistants and technicians, to Dr. Ahmad, Dr. Vu, and my entire dental care team, no shortcuts are taken but care is provided quickly and efficiently.

I am no fan of dental care (maybe the reason I needed one) as I seem to have white-coat syndrome only for dentists, but the staff at this office put me at ease. I originally was only looking for the "any port in a storm" dentist to extract my painful teeth but I've found my "go-to" regular dentist. Even though the office is some distance from home, it was worth the drive and I look forward to continuing my care with the practice.

I didn't agree with my dental treatment plan. I get my teeth cleaned every 6 months for the last 5 years, brush twice a day, and floss daily/as needed. My gums don't bleed when I floss. I was told by Aspen I needed a deep cleaning on the backs of my teeth and old fillings replaced/crowned due to cavities. They told me they would not do regular cleanings if I refused the deep cleaning.

Thankfully, my regular dental office had a last minute opening the next day where I was able to be seen, get updated X-rays, and a regular cleaning after I told them what I was told by aspen---- I did not need deep cleaning. My regular dentist reviewed my X-rays and did not mention anything about cavities in my old fillings or getting a crown. I will not be returning.

I was told that I would receive a call about scheduling an appointment with their specialist. I never received a call so I called them an they apologized an set an appointment for me. I got there at 9am a day my appointment was at 930am. At 1005am I asked when I am going to be seen. I was told the specialist was running late and she was traveling for a long distance.

I can't accept that because I have to be at work or appointments on time, why didn't the specialist account foe travel time? I left and an the office manager said they would reschedule my appointment. That was almost 3 weeks ago and still no call. I will never set foot in Aspen Dental again.

Everyone in this office is so nice and helpful. The dental assistants, the people at the front desk and the dentist were all so sweet. I have a fair amount of work that needs to be done and it was all explained to me thoroughly. No one was pushy, or rushing. I was made to feel like the only patient in the office! I have to give a shout out to the guy that was working at the check out window. He sat with me FOREVER going over finance options, explaining what insurance did and didn’t cover and was just an all around patient, genuine person who deserves some recognition.

I don’t remember his name because of have a squirrel brain, but he was the best! My only issue was that the dental hygienist never cleaned my teeth or my daughters even though we were told it was going to happen. She just left and I guess didn’t mention it to anyone. It was annoying but not anyone else’s fault. I will say that she was nice for the short amount of time I interacted with her.
