I had a great experience today. The check in process was quick and easy. I don’t have to wait long to be seen. The staff was friendly. Dr.Tam and Eva took great care of me during my cleaning and getting my cavities filled. The treatments were thorough. I felt valued as a patient.

Dr. McCall and her team provided me with the absolute best customer service. I had a tooth that had a root canal many years ago. A non-painful gum boil (abscess) would periodically pop up on my gum where that tooth was located. On my consultation visit, Dr. McCall and I reviewed the X-ray and she pointed out the root of my tooth that was of concern, she explained the process for caring for it (I wanted extraction only).

The second appointment (the day of the extraction) Dr. McCall’s assistant prepped me with a bit of numbing gel (she did a really good job). When Dr. McCall began numbing me I didn’t feel the needle at all!!! Dr. McCall’s chair-side manner was AWESOME!!!! She explained that I would feel pressure and sometimes it would be greater, I did (but there was absolutely no pain). She advised me that the root of my tooth was broken in 3 places (I actually asked to see it)! She also showed me the abscess (which was about the size of a wheel barring-I appreciated that).

As she was scraping the infection from the bone, she explained what she was doing. After she was done , the assistant performed another X-ray to ensure that the area was properly cared for. I would definitely recommend the services of Dr. McCall to anyone needing Periodontal care.

The care team from the front desk to the high ranking doctors are compassionate, do have a sense of humor, detail oriented, critical and also open to hear more from our side about our dental health issues. I was a patient here from my teens to early 20s. I ended up leaving the practice after i moved out of the area. I came back because my dentist stopped taking my insurance, but now, I remember why I really left. They have a call center now, and scheduling an appointment was super frustrating. I have a PPO plan thru my job, which does not require an assigned provider. However, the call center rep insisted that i had to contact the insurance to have an assigned provider. I called my insurance and let them know what i was being told. The insurance called the office and reiterated that PPO plans do not need an assigned provider. They faxed over a summary of benefits and advised me to call in a few mins to ensure it was received. When I spoke to a rep from the office again, i was still being told that the summary of benefits did not include the assigned provider. I had to hold back from cussing this woman out.

I told her that PPO plans do not require an assigned provider, and then, and ONLY then did she actually read the summary of benefits stating it was a PPO plan. She finally scheduled the appointment. I waited over an hr to be seen. I had to come back later that day to see the specialist. When i came back, i waited in the eval room for over an hr AGAIN. I am not a fan of Dr. Dompkowski. He gave off a rude demeanor towards his staff and his bedside manner was not pleasant. He didn't bother to converse with me and ask why i was there. He really only spoke directly with the staff, and then proceeded to take gum measurements. He was super rough taking the measurements.

I winced in pain as he was poking around, and then he didn't even look at the implant i was initially there for. I was then shown a video of what to expect next. No interaction from him whatsoever. . . just a video. I was presented with a treatment plan that costs the same as paying without insurance that involved 2 separate visits. When I tried scheduling the appointments, the staff member assisting me went to his office to ask about a specific day, and I heard him yell "NO!" I will not be returning. I am leaving the practice again for good. Sorry to all the decent people who work there, but this place is not what it used to be.
