I had a great new patient experience at Avicenna Dental. I was welcomed at reception by Sharynna who had my Medicaid insurance info on file, no other paperwork needed. I was taken to the examination area, on-time for my 1pm appointment by the assistant Marie, who was quick, calm and precise at hearing my concerns and taking x-rays. Then I met Dr Joanna Compere, who was warm, and thorough in her cleaning and assessment of my x-rays and recession concerns.

I highly recommend this office based on my first visit. I'm so happy to finally have a dentist to help me care for my middle-aged teeth. Thank you Avicenna Dental team

The office/receptionist of this location is extremely rude. I was coming here for years and happy with the dentist I used to see, though she left and no longer works there. I scheduled an appointment on short notice less than 24 hours before the actual appointment time and then got sick. I called first thing when they opened the next day to cancel the appointment because I was sick. They demanded a doctor’s note in order to waive the cancellation fee, which I’ve never heard of and which is completely ridiculous.

They were very rude about it on the phone and I will be finding a different dentist after going here for years. Many of their good reviews are old, but it seems like they are no longer a quality practice and I would not recommend anyone going here. There has been an uptick in bad reviews for a reason.

Izzie, is a wonderful receptionist and has been nothing but super helpful. She has called and reached out multiple times to check in to see how I was doing many days after a dental procedure was done. I highly recommend Avicenna Dental. It has been such a pleasant experience to be in close contact with Izzie knowing that she truly cares about the people she works with!

I had a great experience at The clinic is very clean, modern, and well-organized. Dr. [compare] is extremely professional, patient, and kind. They explained everything clearly and made me feel comfortable throughout the treatment. The staff are also very friendly and helpful.
