The best around! After going to another dentist who constantly found things wrong that he wants to fix ($$), Dr Barr said my teeth were great and that nothing is needed. He made me feel at ease and I’m so glad I moved over to his practice. The whole staff is excellent

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Darwin for 20+ years. When I received letter from Dr. Darwin that he was retiring and Dr. Barr had bought his practice I felt a little hesitant at first because before becoming a patient of Dr.

Darwin my past experiences with my dentist and his hygenist had not been very pleasant! 3 1/2 years ago I moved from Randolph County to Rockingham County but I kept going to Dr. Darwin and driving 1 hr. for my dental needs because I REFUSED to try a new dentist because of the great care I received from Dr. Darwin and ALL his staff! Met Dr. Barr this past June at my regular 6 month check-up and was SO HAPPY to find that his care is as good as Dr.

Darwin's! Left his office today after receiving a permanent crown to replace the temporary one he had to apply. And he preformed PAINLESS, quick treatment!! He has a wonderful outgoing personality but BEST OF ALL he has kept ALL the GREAT staff that Dr. Darwin had employed! So YES I will continue to make an hour drive for all my dental needs! So if your looking to find a GREAT dentist with a WONDERFUL staff with a comfortable laid back feel Dr. Barr is who you need to see!

Medic Life

By far the best dentist I have ever been to! Walked in and they greeted me by name for my first visit. It had been a few years since I just recently got dental insurance. They used some kind of numbing gel for the cleaning. It was amazing. I have always had sensitive teeth and so cleanings always hurt. Turns out, I can benefit from further treatment, but insurance companies rarely cover them.

So, we discussed other options that are more cost-effective. I had one cavity that needed repair, so they scheduled a follow-up appointment for the next day. Again, when I walked in the receptionist smiled, greeted me, and immediately got the hygienist. She put the numbing gel on, then Dr. Barr came in and did the numbing shot. He said he would give it a few minutes to see if it took.

They told me if it wore off too soon, which sometimes happens, they would stop and re-numb the area. Absolutely amazing experience. I appreciated that they understand that while I want to take great care of my mouth, I am not full of money. Excellent customer service and I love that they want to make sure your comfortable the whole time!
