Literally enjoyed my initial visit. Very thorough in all aspects of the visit. Clearly laid out everything they were going to do for the visit ( before they did it) including cost and what insurance covered. Exam, X-rays and cleaning done professionally, thoroughly and with very clear description of the results.

Made to feel very comfortable and was never made to feel I had to do everything that was suggested. Just a very comfortable visit. Hygienist (Taylor) was very respectful, knowledgeable and comfortable to deal with. Highly recommend this practice!

I just completed my second visit with Dr. Ashley Banks at Brafman Family Dentistry. Before I retired, I worked in Dental Practice Management which has made me a fairly well-educated patient. I can state without reservation that I highly recommend her.

Her examination and treatment planning was extremely thorough and she did an excellent job replacing some broken amalgam fillings I've had for 50 years. She was so gentle that I actually fell asleep while she was performing the work. If you need a dentist, seek her out.

I walked in looking to scope out an outstanding dental practice. However, while I know there are always two sides to every story, and the negative should never be the first assumption. I heard how your receptionist spoke to a patient today. I walked right back out. You didn’t lose a customer or any money, but you did gain a horrible impression. There is professional conduct and then there is inexcusable conduct.

A prettier smile can’t buy you class, it seems. I feel empathy for the client of yours that was spoken too in such an abrasive and rude manner by your receptionist when only scheduling a next appointment. Lastly, I know this review is meaningless so there is no need to defend the post Dr. Wendy Brafman. The replies alone on your business page to a poor client experience is reflection enough on your mindset as a business owner.

Edit: It seems the practice wishes to twist this back on me, rather than own a miscommunication ( not the first time we've experienced a failure in clear professional communication ). A simple we're sorry for the misunderstanding could have gone a long way. Instead, they would rather go on the offensive because I would dare to ask a question. They claim that I simply don't like that I was told no. I understand sometimes a business owner must say no. However, when, rather than saying no in a professional manner, the staff act like a pack of attacking hyenas, and are rude and inappropriate, patients will respond negatively. Especially when staff they aren't even speaking to come charging from out of sight to butt in, rudely and aggressively, even though another staff member is already handling the situation appropriately. It is uncalled for. Also, Dr. Wendy laughing in the face of a neurodivergent patient who unexpectedly becomes upset during treatment, without any understanding of the stressors that caused her to become upset, and not bothering to even inquire about those stressors says an awful lot about her chairside manor with patients. I'm sorry for Dr.

Kevin, he's a good Dr. but professionally has linked himself to someone without humility. My child may be 18 but she's still my child and verbally attacking a mother for defending her child isn't a good look. Neither is taking money for transferring records and then not transferring them, or waiting until after the consultation appointment date for which they are needed is already past to do so. And by the way, people who call you out for being rude and unproffesdional and deflecting rather than taking accountability for your words and actions are NOT crazy. You just don't like being held to account. Dr. Kevin is laid back, direct, and business like in his patient care demeanor. Dr. Wendy is not the one for you if you have anxiety or can't deal with a highly strung chairside manor. My experiences with hygeinists in this office have always been great.

The office staff is, unfortunately, hit or miss. Some staff are very nice. Unfortunately a few are not people who should be in customer service roles. Some of the office policies are not customer service friendly and the office staff struggle to present these policies in a way that is customer service oriented. When you dare to question any of these policies thier tactic is to double down and become aggressively defensive. My dental treatment in this office has been good. Unfortunately I can no longer overlook being spoken to in a rude and disrespectful manor every time I feel the need to ask a question or point out that an issue has not been handled as promised. This office is fine for dental treatment as long as you don't defend your interests or expect to be treated like a paying patient with a high level of customer service.
