I had an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience at this dental office — easily the worst I’ve ever encountered. I visited their other clinic last week for an emergency appointment, and they told me I needed to see their oral surgeon. They assured me that the visit would be covered by my insurance and even acted like they were doing me a favor by getting me scheduled quickly. Fast forward to my appointment — I waited for over an hour to see the surgeon, who spent less than two minutes with me before quoting me $2,000 for the procedure.

To make matters worse, they then charged me $200 for those two minutes, despite previously telling me the visit would be covered by my insurance. This entire experience felt like a scam, and I strongly believe they misled me just to get me in the door. I would never recommend this business — 10 out of 10 do not recommend. Save yourself the stress, frustration, and unexpected costs by going elsewhere!

I had been going to Bright now since I was a kid. It wasn’t until I switched to a real dentist that I now understand how bad they actually are. Everytime I went, consistently have to wait 45 mins-1 hour past my appointment time before I was called back. Then another 30 minutes once I’m in the chair. The new dentist that they hired in 2022/2023 is responsible for doing completely unnecessary work, based on her misjudgment.

She was evaluating a minor tooth stain as a cavity and recommending it needed to be drilled, when it did NOT need to be drilled. She was very unsteady with her hands which made my fillings even more uncomfortable, and also, did not numb me properly causing me to experience excruciating pain. If I could give this place negative 5 stars I would. PLEASE take my word for it and do not find out the hard way.

INCOMPETENT, UNPROFESSIONAL, SCAM - STAY AWAY! Do you like to be put on hold for hours? How about being over charged for unneeded dental work? What about never being able to get quotes despite calling dozens of times? If so, you will love Bright Now! On the other hand, if you prefer competence, timely replies, and professional dental help - go somewhere else! I brought my child to Bright Now to get a quote on braces. They were unable to give me the quote before I left, so they said they would call me. Weeks later, no quote.

So I started calling them to get it - probably called around 10 times. Half the time, I was on hold for at least half an hour before I hung up. The other half, they could not find the quote and said they would call me back.

The cycle started over at that point. On top of not being able to get a quote - they routinely told me that they could not give me a cleaning and instead tried to upsell me to get a scaling, which I did not need and my insurance only partially covered. So instead of a free cleaning, they tried to charge me $800? TOTAL SCAM

Unprofessional, horrible customer service, zero compassion. I was gagging as the hygienist was trying to put the x-ray film in my mouth. I asked for a smaller device, to which I was told, "this is what we have, this is what we use. I can get you "no gag" but you're not going to like it. " I tried putting the device in my mouth on my own, I was still gagging and the hygienist was saying "No, No, see- you're not doing it right.

You're pushing it forward. " I asked if I could forego the x-rays and just have my cleaning. I was told "No, if you don't have the x-rays we won't know what type of cleaning you need. " I have NEVER been told that EVER. I said "Ok, well then can I just speak to the dentist?" She replied "I'm not sure that she'll see you because we didn't get the x-rays.

" I asked was I even going to get a cleaning today and was told, maybe if there was time and depending on the type of cleaning I needed. I took the x-ray apron off and walked out. DO NOT GO HERE! Money - all they care about is how many times they can charge your insurance. Should have known better than to go to a franchise - Chain - McDonalds - type dental practice.
