The clinic's staff have always been very nice and friendly, until my last treatment. I was charged $400 for one single filling that they originally quoted me to be $96. My original treatmant plan was for three fillings and I was told insurance could cover that so I was only gonna pay $120 which is reasonable so I agreed. Later on the doctor found some shadowing on a fourth tooth and told me this would be filled in the next appointment, and they quoted me $96 for this.

*No one at any time* mentioned a price of $400, and I never signed a quote with this price (they always make you sign the quotes when you agree to get the treatment done). After they finished the treatment, they gave me the invoice for $400! When I asked how was this possible, I was told it was a mistake and a confusion from their side but I’m the one who has to pay for it. Their solution was to set a payment plan for me to divide the amount but yet again, why am I having to pay $400? They initially told me that insurance would cover part of it, and hence quoted me $96. If I was told before that insurance wouldn't cover it then I would have declined the treatment.

This is not the first time I’ve heard about a problem like this, since a similar situation happened to a friend. They quote you one price, and then completely change it up on the final invoice without any agreement signed for that ridiculous amount.
