If you’re looking for a dental office that will make your child feel welcome, understood, and safe — look no further. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with the biggest smile and the warmest, most sincere welcome from Kristin at the front desk. She was kind, funny, jovial, reassuring — everything you’d want your child to witness upon entering a medical setting that conceptually frightens a lot of kids. From there, we met Dr. Erin and Ellie. While it was a process to attempt to unravel the fear of the unknown in the mind of a young child, they did everything they could and more to assuage his trepidation.

They spoke to him in a warm tone with gentle words, while using their positions to explain the process and help him acclimate to the idea. Threading the needle between working to calm him and tactically seizing opportunities as they presented to perform the exam is a relatively insurmountable feat but they executed it so effortlessly. It was time-consuming and he was struggling, but not only did they never make it feel like an imposition — the quality of character displayed both individually and collectively and the feeling that it elicited in me is something that cannot be feigned. I’m sure anyone reading this has had an experience in which they patronized a business dealing primarily with children, had a bad experience, and were left confounded as to why anyone lacking compassion and patience would choose to work with children. This was that, but the inverse. It was exceedingly clear why they do the jobs that they do, and more potently, I was left with immense gratitude that they chose the careers that they did, at this location, at this time, so that he is able to have the outstanding support that he did.

Hyperbolic as though it might sound (in actuality, it’s anything but), there’s literally nothing that Kristin, Ellie, or Dr. Erin could’ve done to improve. From the second we walked in until the moment that we departed, the care provided far exceeded any conceivable standard.

Dr. Erin, Kristin, and all the hygienists and staff we’ve interacted with have been absolutely stellar. We transferred from another office that was not able to get my children in for dental emergencies, and have been so glad we did - Carolina Orthodontics and Children’s Dentistry is incredible in all respects. Most importantly, they do excellent work.

The team works together to make sure kids are supported, entertained, accommodated in whatever they need to have a great experience. Contacting the office and scheduling is a breeze, they have a great appointment reminder system, and billing goes smoothly. 10/10! Big thanks from Theo and Alex!

I’ve been taking my 2 children to the Rolesville location to see Dr. Erin since they were 1 they are now 3 and 2 years old. It was important to me to find an office that allows you to go back with your children and they do. The staff are so nice, welcoming, and patient. My kids are not scared and actually look forward to going to the dentist. The office is clean and organized and yet kid friendly with activities to keep the kids entertained while we wait to get called back.

The wait however has never been long, they are punctual with their appointment times. Dr. Erin is patient with the kids and clear and direct when explaining things to you as a parent which I appreciate. I truly do recommend this dentist office whenever my family or friends ask where we go.
