Dr. Walter Peavler is a highly experienced and compassionate dentist practicing at Central Kentucky Dental, located at 198 Redwing Dr, Winchester, KY 40391. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Dr. Peavler's journey into dentistry is unique, having initially earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Transylvania University. He spent many years working in laboratory services and as a biochemist at the University of Kentucky before deciding to pursue dentistry, earning his DMD from the University of Kentucky, College of Dentistry, in 2009. Following his graduation, he served in the United States Navy from 2009 to 2014, completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency and serving tours of duty on the USS Harry S Truman (CVN-75) and at Joint Expeditionary Base, Little Creek, Virginia. He returned to his hometown of Frankfort in 2014 and began practicing with Central Kentucky Dental. Dr. Peavler founded Central Kentucky Dental on principles of honesty, compassion, and exceptional customer service. His dental philosophy centers on the belief that "Dentistry is a great profession because it fulfills my need for helping people and combines technical and artistic skills, satisfying my need to be challenged." He and his team are dedicated to providing high-quality, affordable dentistry in a warm, inviting, and professional atmosphere. Central Kentucky Dental offers a comprehensive array of services, including general dentistry (exams, cleanings, tooth-colored fillings, root canals, extractions), preventative dentistry (oral cancer screenings, digital x-rays, fluoride treatments), and cosmetic dentistry (crowns, bridges, porcelain veneers, teeth whitening, Invisalign invisible braces). They prioritize patient comfort, offering nitrous oxide (laughing gas) for those with dental anxiety and striving to see emergency patients as quickly as possible. The clinic welcomes new patients and works with various insurance companies and CareCredit to make dental care accessible. Dr. Peavler is also active in community activities, including the Winchester Rotary Club and the Chamber of Commerce, where he graduated from the Leadership Winchester Program in 2015.
