The entire team is professional and customer oriented. The front desk duo are informative and patient with scheduling. They call and remind me of appointments and this os appreciated. Dr Sehgal is fantastic and his work has been exceptional for years. And I have been his patient since the 1980’s Thanks and we highly recommend this business.

I am not sure how this office is still in operation to be honest. I scheduled an appointment here in August of '24, because I had an infection in one of my teeth. They took x-rays and the dentist told me there was nothing wrong with my teeth. They did a cleaning, which was fine because I hadn't had one in about 8 months anyway, so I was overdue. Four months later, I had a raging toothache that kept me up all night, so I scheduled another appointment. They called me the morning of my appointment, about an hour prior and told me that I would have to go to a different location because the dentist had to go that location that day. So, had to drive across town instead of just a few minutes away from my house. When I got there, they did the same x-rays again and the dentist AGAIN told me, "I don't think it's infected. " She tried to completely gaslight me into thinking there was nothing wrong. Tried to blame it on sensitivity.

So I pushed her and told her, look, I know that there is infection there because there is literally infected fluid draining out of the gums when I press on it. And tooth sensitivity doesn't cause pain that lasts for over 10 hours straight. So she then kinda tapped on my teeth with a metal prod and asked if that tooth hurt when she did. Um, yes, it hurts. She was like, "oh, well it's gonna need a root canal. We will schedule you back to do that. " I asked about antibiotics in the meantime until then, and she just sort of laughed and said, "if we give you antibiotics, it will make the infection go down. " First of all, you said that you didn't think it was infected. Secondly, isn't that the point of the antibiotics? Then they did ANOTHER cleaning, which I had just had done 4 months ago. No big deal, right? They get money out of me for the cleaning.

So I scheduled the root canal, knowing that I'd just get a second opinion elsewhere. Glad that I did. Went to a different dentist, and they did some more comprehensive x-rays, and immediately the dentist saw a rather large pocket of infection and said that the tooth needed to be pulled. She showed me that most of the bone had deteriorated due to the infection, and that doing a root canal would be somewhat pointless, because the tooth was only hanging on by about 50% what it should be. So I got the tooth extracted, same day, at a different dentist, and now the infection that Central Ohio Dental Associates told me wasn't there, is gone. In summary, Central Ohio tried to tell me that there was no infection, when there clearly was, and wanted to charge me a small fortune for a root canal that had almost no chance of fixing the issue and then I'd end up losing the tooth anyway. Makes you wonder what would have happened if I had gotten the Root Canal, and they hadn't gotten all the infection out? If I could give 0 stars, it would still be more than this place deserves. They are unorganized, unprofessional, and they simply do not care to listen to their patients. All they want is your money.
