I had been in pain for over a month before coming to Commack Dental Design, and after having issues with a previous dentist, I was extremely nervous. I get really anxious around the dentist and honestly thought I was going to have to be put under. I hate lying back because it makes me nervous. I don’t even know why! Plus, I had trouble keeping my mouth open (sorry, Dr. Baharestani!), but he was so kind and patient throughout the entire procedure.

He adjusted the chair for me when I asked and never made me feel rushed or uncomfortable. The procedure was done quickly, gently, and without sedation. His dental assistant was also super sweet (wish I caught her name) and entertained me with conversation while I waited, which really helped ease my nerves. I had taken some ibuprofen before the appointment, so I expected some relief—but even after it wore off, the pain never came back. For the first time in a month, I felt normal again.

The only thing I noticed afterward was some soreness to the touch, probably from the injections, but absolutely no more pain. I drove three hours to see him, and it was 100% worth it. Thank you so much, Dr. Baharestani and the team at Commack Dental Design. I’m beyond grateful for your care ! 🥹🩷 May your days be as smooth as you made my procedure feel!

The whole group there are absolutely wonderful. They do it all. What they did for me in 4 months would have taken my old dentist a year . My old dentist really messed me up requiring me to have to have more work done because I was neglected there . . I’d like to give the office girls moet Nicole and Sandra a big shout out .

There so friendly caring and have the patience to explain everything even when I ask for them please go over it again. they do and always with a smile . Most important their work is great . I’m a very happy new patient.

My experience at Commack Dental Design as a new patient was absolutely amazing! I see that there was a review of someone not happy with the front desk staff however, front desk staff Nichole was very nice, helpful, informative, and direct. She let me know she’ll send out to my insurance for preauthorization before scheduling so I can know my copay for when I come back.

The doctor I saw was amazing, she did a thorough exam and let me know what treatment I needed and the whole staff made me feel comfortable and at ease for my first dental experience in this office seeing as how I have a dental phobia! Everyone in this office is lovely and I’d HIGHLY recommend anyone to this office! I’m looking forward to my treatment and getting my teeth back into good health!
