Direct and transparent? Ha! A direct question was pointed at you and you certainly were NOT transparent! Wow! Keep needing to edit. Ms. Kress had the nerve to ask my daughter to take my review down and told my daughter I was putting her and the dentist in the middle. My daughter is very aware of her unprofessional practices as well and is just as upset! And wow!!! Read her Reddit reviews! She has the option to write off charges but she won’t. She is not contracted with my dental insurance and she can absolutely not bill me and write it off. After leaving several detailed messages that we were upset that the office didn’t tell my daughter she was out of network when she asked, Ms.

Kress sent my daughter a text that had nothing to do with my several messages. I was very clear that we were upset claims paid out of network after being led to believe they were in network and she chose to blame insurance in her text and didn’t explain why she didn’t tell my daughter she was out of network. She talked to me up to the point I told her that and suddenly couldn’t speak to me any longer because my daughter is over 18. The one staff member I talked to last week had no problem talking to me. This dentist will not tell your college student they are out of network so as a parent make sure you confirm that before going here. Another UK parent said she told her daughter directly to her face she was in network and 400.

00 later they found out she was not. In my opinion this is a fraudulent and very unprofessional practice! To make it very clear someone at THIS OFFICE led us to believe they were in network. This has zero to do with insurance! No matter who from Ms. Kress’s office led my daughter to believe they were in network they represent her! I have text messages with my daughter discussing this from last year. My daughter asked someone in her office if they were in network and they said yes! They should have told my daughter they were not in network and they know it!

Dr. Kress is absolutely amazing not only did she squeeze me in as a new patient when I had horrible tooth pain she found the cause and resolved it. After a month of pain in less then 24 hrs Dr Kress and her staff had me taken care of. I am not a fan of going to the dentist, Commonwealth Smiles made it almost enjoyable. I look forward to continuing my dental care with Commonwealth Smiles.

I’m disappointed with the most recent experience I had at Dr. Kress's office. I had scheduled an appointment expecting that Dr. Kress would perform the cavity extraction and restoration (Undoubtedly, she is a great dentist!), but to my surprise, the procedure was handled entirely by a dental assistant — and without supervision. This situation left me feeling like I was receiving subpar patient care. To clarify, I hesitantly consented to allow the assistant to perform the service. . .

while I was already laying back in the chair for the numbing agent injection from Dr. Kress, before she left. Quickly, this assistant did not appear confident or adequately prepared for the procedure, which only added to my discomfort. In fact, she nearly began working on the wrong tooth (whoops), and I had to stop her and correct the mistake before any irreversible work was done. Unfortunately, this restoration wasn't done properly, and on the advice of another practice, corrected by another provider in Lexington. What concerns me is that Dr. Kress billed me for the service as if she had performed it herself. This misrepresentation is not only misleading but also unethical, especially when the quality of care was clearly compromised in my case.

As a result, I filed a formal complaint with my insurance provider immediately following my appointment months ago and my case was just recently settled. I delayed paying the balance due (including late fees) until it was resolved directly with my insurance provider. I just wish Dr. Kress would have performed the service! I asked to provide this feedback directly with Dr. Kress, but she declined.

3rd visit with Dr Kress DMD. She is an excellent professional and is more efficient and caring. Much appreciation for the care and service I received. I have anxiety and ptsd. So I was nervous. Once I arrived, the staff greeted me and took me back. I was there about 90 minutes. Thankful I found my Dentist.

I had my 3rd since August 2 2024. Dr Kress is wonderful direct and skilled. My dental treatment was excellent. I follow her and her teams direction and I notice I improved dental health already. I highly recommend Commonwealth Smiles. Completed my new crown. Very pleased .
