My appointment was at 11 am and I didn’t get called back to the room until 11:50am. I was treated like I was a walk in. The excuse was the doctor was running behind. None of the staff to include Dr. Gene apologized for the inconvenience or long wait time. I went in for some slight sensitivity on one tooth and I expected it was a cavity.

I saw the cavity on the x-ray and saw it DID NOT penetrate my nerve but adjacent. Dr. Gene could have recommended a filling since the decay has not reached the pulp (nerve tissue). Instead he said he’d want to do a root canal. (Unnecessary procedure) but since root canals are more costly than a filling and insurance pays more for those, I get why he made that suggestion. I didn’t argue with him because I never want a dentist to do anything in my mouth that I had to argue with.

He then went on to tell me my “options” and without any of them being that I could get a second opinion. Dr. Gene fits the stereotype that medical providers treat certain people a certain way based on their insurance coverage. Shame.

My first visit, with an emergency. The front desk was helpful. I was seen without appointment. Hygienist was very nice and informative. Dr. Was very professional, and showed care and sympathy. Offered a great and practical solution. Scheduled procedure for next week. They submitted my stuff to my insurance.and gave me a price quote

I went to community dental of Burlington and I was so embarrassed because I had a chip tooth when I walked in. Jamie at the front desk was so sweet and beyond nice and understanding. She handled me very well. I needed an emergency appointment and she got me in right away.

Dr. Gene was amazing and fixed my tooth right there. At check out, Jamie and Dawn were both so nice, friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back!

Dr. Gene is phenomenal! He’s very knowledgeable and a perfectionist at heart. He takes pride in his work. He repaired my teeth after another dentist (across the street from him) messed them up. Every procedure was pain free which is always a win when choosing a dentist. I highly recommend Dr. Gene and I thank him for all of his hard work and dedication. Truly grateful 🙏❤️😊
