Beware this is not the same office it was when Dr. Nichols was there. I had same repair work done that Dr. Nichols had previously performed on two occasions. Each time his repair would last 3 to 5 years. I recently had has same repair done at current office. It lasted 1 1/2 days.

. Called office 3 different times to talk to someone or have someone call me. 2 weeks no call from anyone. I take this as their only interested in collecting you money. .

The reception staff was great, but my experience in the chair was awful. The dental hygienist was downright condescending and rude. I spent an hour being lambasted and insulted for the condition of my teeth (genetics and several years without dental insurance). After an hour of being demeaned by her, she had the audacity to try to sell me on a $200 electronic toothbrush and a trip to the endodontist for something that was blurry on an x-ray.

The young dentist who saw me briefly was nice, but deferred to the hygienist way too much. The real kicker is that this visit not only came close to somehow maxing out my deductibles, it’s that they could’ve actually given me treatment then and there for two teeth that really needed work. I went to an emergency dentist in Knoxville a week later when an old filling cracked. I was told that the problems should’ve been taken care of, then and there, at my visit to Community Family Dentistry.

I was also told to cancel the endodontist visit, because there was absolutely nothing wrong. I’m glad I got a second opinion and the help I needed. Avoid this practice at all costs.

I went here my whole life. Every problem I have had with my teeth is because of them. I went in with a hurting tooth. Was told it was receding gums. Not too long after my tooth broke from decay. I have deep crevices in my teeth (just how they grew in) they require a bit more attention. Went to a new dentist and not had a single issue since. I loved them for a long time cause I like the people there until I realized how careless they had been with my teeth. . my moms as well.

She had a bad tooth and kept going back saying she was having pain, even after X-rays are plenty of money they still kept saying it was an ENT issue. . it wasn’t. It was a bad tooth and she need a root canal. . they don’t care about your mouth. At one point I wouldn’t have recommended anyone but them but now that I see the long lasting damage they have caused plus THOUSANDS of dollars I’ve had to sink into my mouth because of they’re neglect. . I will never recommend them.

Dr Belter is easily the worst dentist I have ever been to. She does not explain procedures, usually talking to staff instead of the patient, making you feel invisible or stupid. The last (and it will certainly be my last) incident was her doing a crown. In a few days, it was abscessed. She refused to call in an antibiotic. Sent me to get a $1400 root canal. Now I need an oral surgeon to pull the tooth and have been in pain for a month.

My insurance won't pay it all because Dr. Belter has used up all my benefits for the year. There's more, but I'm going to stop. She's all about collecting your money not helping you. I will NEVER go back.
