I am new to the area and needed to have my teeth cleaned. I have very sensitive teeth and gums so I was very anxious about the exam. Dr. Lloyd and his staff were very caring and compassionate. I did not experience any pain at all. I am so glad I went to CornerStone Family Dentistry and highly recommend them. Now I look forward to getting my dental exams.

I broke a tooth in December. They don't do root canals so he referred me to another Dentist outside of my insurance network. When I asked them to refer me to a dentist inside my network the desk clerk was rude and said they had no way of knowing who was or wasn't in network. I got on line and it took 2 minutes to find one. The tooth broke a second time and I was in pain. They sent my prescriptions to the wrong pharmacy THREE times, even when I called and told them where I was, and he called in a prescription for tablets when the medicine only came in capsules so the pharmacy couldn't fill it.

Worst of all, I was on a blood thinner and needed my cardiologist to give them permission to take me off the thinner for the procedure. They got permission but didn't tell me. I finally called them, and they said the cardiologist said I could come off it for good. So i did. Turns out they didn't say that, they said to stop taking it for 7 days only! I'd just had an angio gram. .

. and now I have to have it again because I wasn't on the medication when I should have been. The staff is ridiculously inept and rude and while Dr Lloyd was kind, he spent a grand total of 2 minutes in the exam room with me and left. Every time I called for anything it took days to get a response or a prescription. I finally called another dentist and had the procedure done there. I'll never go back!!!

The only thing positive about my visit was that the Dentist was very professional and friendly unlike the staff. They lock the door when they go to lunch. Employees only unlocked the deadbolt when returning. 20-30 minutes after they were supposed to be back they let the patients in after they had to wait, I guess they couldn't hear knocking because of their own conversations. I was understanding and tried to comfort the waiting patients. You don't want to frustrate anyone about to do you a service, right? Everyone but the dentist, Dr. Lloyd, and the dental hygienist seemed to have an attitude. The desk lady was demanding and just seemed like she was in a bad mood. The lady that took my x-ray was ok until I spoke.

Whether I asked a question or spoke in general she wasn't trying to hear anything. There is a lack of communication amongst the staff as well as some unprofessional attitudes. I was prescribed an antibiotic that I wasn't even told about or given a prescription for until a week after?! Oh. . . they were sure to charge me $103 more than what I was originally told and for what. . . I don't know because I didn't even recieve a receipt.

I recieve the dental plan, however. I had an x-ray and I guess a consultation. They were sure to make sure they got that money but what about the patient? The staff didn't care enough about the patient to give them a much needed prescription that was prescribed before I left. No one was in the waiting room and I was told to sit down and wait. The whole waiting room experience was frustrating say the least. Dr. Lloyd seemed to be a really promising dentist, but he's going to miss out on any more of my business until things change. I'm cancelling all appointments until further notice.

I had a great experience at Cornerstone. Dr. Lloyd and his staff were wonderful to me and my children. They made my 4 year old feel so comfortable where as in the past she would not sit for her cleaning and was very scared. Our appointment did not last long and we didn't wait long at all to be seen. Also, the receptionist gave me the most convenient time to come in so that I would not have to take off so much time at work to go to this appointment. The office is extremely comfortable and very clean.

The prices are very reasonable too. Dr. Lloyd was very nice and took the time to actually talk to us. Very professional. Both my kids now look forward to going to the Dentist and that is awesome. I highly recommend this dental office.
