I hadn’t been to a dentist in years and was feeling so anxious about my teeth, being judged for the lapse, and Covid. The entire staff here was so warm, welcoming, and understanding. They put me immediately at ease. I felt very safe and well cared for. It is clear the folks here love what they do and care about their patients. If I could give 10 stars I would!

Great Dentist with great hygienists. Wendy is the best hygienist. Everyone is kind. While they are always booked, they manage appointments to a T with minimal wait time and efficient service. Average cleaning time for me from arrival to completion has been 30-40 minutes. My last dentist was about 1.5 hours every time. Big upgrade with this place.

I am new to Richmond and have been searching for a dental office. I was happy to find Lakeside Dental due to the positive reviews. Unfortunately, the receptionist, Cindy, was not very welcoming. I called three times this morning. The first time I called someone picked up the line only to hang it up. I thought it might be a mistake so I called a second time only to find the call was denied.

I called a third time for the call to finally be received with, "This is Cindy. " I was a bit surprised by the reception and figured I had to have been misdialing so I said that I was attempting to reach the Lakeside Dental office. Her reply was, "Yes?", as if I was inconveniencing her. I asked to make an appointment. She asked if I was a new patient to which I replied, "Yes. " She said they were not accepting new patients at this time.

I chose to reach out to this dental office because my wife and are new to the area and are looking for a dental office. The reviews for this office are very good. Also, my insurance shows that the office is currently accepting new patients. Oh well, back to my search.
