Most people don’t look forward to going to the dentist, but from my experiences at Beerline Dental Associates, I wouldn’t recommend this office to my worst enemy. Over the course of time I’ve been coming here, I’ve encountered a constant turnover of dentists and specialists, making it impossible to establish any continuity of care. Several months ago, I met with a dentist who was clearly more focused on leaving to start their own practice than addressing my issues. Their lack of care and dismissive attitude made it obvious that my concerns weren’t a priority.
I left that appointment with the impression that I was an afterthought while they were phoning it in their last week on the job. When I returned for a follow-up cleaning, I was told my action plan and previous recommendations hadn’t been saved. This meant I had to repeat the entire process from scratch with a new set of providers—frustrating and entirely avoidable. After working out an extensive action plan requiring multiple appointments, I showed up for my first visit only to discover that several of my appointments—including the one I was there for—had been canceled and rescheduled without my knowledge.
Dealing with Beerline Dental Associates has truly redefined the phrase “like pulling teeth. ” Their lack of organization, consistency, and respect for patients’ time is unacceptable.

I LOVE this location. Great for me living downtown, I can take my scooter or bike to my appointment and have a really safe route to get there, especially since they added nice bike lanes with posts on the road in front of the office. The front staff have always been so kind and work with you very well, the hygienists are so knowledgeable and never cease to give me great advice when it comes to dental care and gum health, and every dentist I have worked with here has had great bedside manner.
When I've had to get fillings here I have had theost comfortable experience of my life, coming from someone who has had to get multiple fillings this office and these dentists really make me feel incredibly comfortable during the process. TL;DR: I love this office. The staff are fantastic, the small office feels homey, and it's so incredibly easy for me to get there from my downtown apartment.
I will continue coming here as long as I live in Milwaukee. This is a fantastic office and the staff does a great job cultivating a comfortable environment for their patients.

I don't trust this place. I had red hair as a kid and, if you don't know, people with the red hair gene don't respond well to anesthesia. Some people don't respond to it at all, others need A LOT of anesthesia before they go numb, and for some anesthesia wares off way faster than normal. I got a cavity filled here yesterday. I told her about how novacaine doesn't really numb me and that I might need lidocaine. It seemed like she listened at first and she gave me 1 additional shot of novacaine when I was feeling pain during the drilling proccess. After that, she couldn't give less of a shit. I signaled I was feeling pain and she brushed me off saying there was nothing she could do and that feeling pain is normal and fine so long as it's not too bad. I know that's untrue and would have left then and there but even air was hurting like hell so I figured I'd just get this over with. So I just sat through the rest of the filling feeling a lot of pain and just having to bear it because the dentist thought it such a burden that I was in pain.
She then informed me I would need a root canal because of where the rest of the decay is. She phrased this like this is not a service that is offered at this office (I do not know if they do root canals here). She then said she could just put a thing in there that has only a 60% chance of keeping the decay from spreading. It was kind of like she was asking me a question but it was more like a "this is all I can do. " What else am I supposed to do/ how am I supposed to give consent when I have my nerve exposed AND it's hurting because I wasn't properly numbed? I agreed because it was phrased like there was no other option and because I was in pain and just wanted this to be over with. Not only that, but the filling chipped as soon as i was sat up and let my jaw fully relax. I didn't even bother telling them because I genuinely don't believe that dentist would have given a shit at all. They then wanted to schedule an appointment for another filling. I had to ask the hygienist where all my cavities were because no one communicated a single thing to me during my exam. All I was told was that I had 3 cavities (this is on my copy of the estimate) including the one I just had filled.
So I would only have 2 cavities left. She then informs me I actually have 5 cavities that ALL need to be filled. In pain, frustrated, and understanding I was not at a credible dentist office, I lied and said I'd schedule later. The only good thing about this place was that they didn't charge me for that 60% chance thing they put in my mouth. But they did say I paid too much for the filling and had me wait up front to speak with the receptionist (who's lovely btw) who then stated I actually paid the correct amount but had to pay again because they already refunded the payment. I'm just waiting to see that they charged me twice for this shitty filling. It seems this place just wants money out of people by keeping patients in the dark about their care and confusing them. Gross business practices that don't belong in healthcare. I do not recommend getting care here.

This location has significantly gone down over the last year. Between their dentist opening his own practice and a change to their scheduling system, I have had a tremendous amount of issues. I was charged a no show fee for an appointment I never scheduled. As this was my third billing issue with this location and the poor service I requested to have a note added that I will no longer be a patient with them. To my surprise, I received an email thanking me for scheduling another appointment.
When I called back, I spoke again with Trina where she was unable to comprehend that I was scheduled another appointment and instead told me she cancelled an appointment for me. Which made no sense as I had no other appointments scheduled. When I tried to call back after re-reading the email my calls went unanswered and my issue unresolved. All in all save yourself the poor customer service and unnecessary billing.
