I recently visited Dr. Gaughan and I must say, it was the best experience I've had at a dentist. Not only was Dr. Gaughan understanding of my sensitivity, anxiety and TMJ but she also took the time to explain all my options to me. Dr. Gaughan made sure I was completely conformable throughout the entire appointment.
Dr. Gaughan' s calming demeanor truly put me at ease and made my visit a positive one. Anyone who struggles with sensitivity, anxiety or TMJ issues I highly recommend Dr. Gaughan. Thank you so much for making my experience a great one!

After suffering with acute dental painand not sleeping for days, I contacted Dr. Gaughan. She got me into the office immediately and started with x-rays and exam, searching for the problem. I had a failed root canal in one tooth and a dying nerve in another tooth that was most likely infected (rare for two to go bad at once!). Dr. Gaughan worked on my one tooth and seeing how much pain I was in she decided to forego her afternoon plans and made arrangements for childcare so she could stay and fix both my teeth and end my agony. On Valentine’s Day no less!! Dr. Gaughan attended to me the better part of her whole day, not giving up and working tirelessly until she fixed my teeth. Her support staff was amazing and comforted me through the whole day, offering support and encouragement.
Even Dr. Gaughan wiped away my tears. At the end of the long day, I was out of pain and on my way toward a healthy smile again. After, she sat and talked with me about the next stage of treatment and explained everything in detail and ALL of my options. She did not leave until I was satisfied. She sent me home with two antibiotics and a follow up in a month. I just completed phase II of the procedure yesterday and, again, Dr. Gaughan worked on my teeth through out her day and made sure I was okay and comfortable, stopping anytime I needed a break or expressed concern. She and her staff have been heroes to me these last few visits.
I am SO grateful for her care, attention to detail, thoroughness, kindness and compassion. I have had a lot of dental work done in my 36 years and many dentists. Dr. Gaughan has by far been the absolute best and I am so thankful for her. Thank you Dr Gaughan and staff. I am in your debt!! I highly recommend her to all who need a reliable, up to date, knowledgeable and understanding dentist. I will go no where else.

I cannot say enough good things about our family dentist, Dr. Mariela Gaughan, and her amazing team. From the moment we stepped into the clinic, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. Dr. Gaughan practice has a welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts both adults and children at ease. She is not only highly skilled and knowledgeable, but she also has a wonderful way with children. My kids used to be anxious about going to the dentist, but Dr. Gaughan’s gentle demeanor and patience have completely changed their perspective.
She takes the time to explain procedures in a way that kids can understand and always makes sure they feel comfortable and safe. In addition, her staff is equally fantastic. The front desk team is always friendly and efficient. Whether it's for a routine cleaning or a more complex procedure, I trust Dr. Gaughan and her team completely. I couldn't imagine taking my family anywhere else for dental care.
