Stay far away from this place! I had an appointment at 9:30am. They had me sitting on the freezing cold X-ray room for hours. They didn’t start my root canal until close to 1:00pm. The Dr. drilled in my mouth for about an hour or so because you could tell he couldn’t find the root in my tooth.
Then he says “I’m hungry. Come back later and I’ll finish. ” Then he yelled at the woman helping him right in front of me! Then I come back later around 3pm that day for the “scheduled “second appointment. They had me Dr. proceeded to drill in my tooth again.
After he realizes he can’t figure the root canal out he says “hmm I have to ponder on this one. Come back another time and we’ll figure it out”. Then he walks out of the office! I was in that office for almost their entire business hours! I literally cried when I got home. I was so traumatized from the experience that I decided to go to another Dentist to finish my root canal! I wasn’t going to write this review, but I just found out that dental care of Stratford/south Jersey (whatever the real name is) is claiming they completed the full procedure and now I have to fight with my insurance company to get my bill paid! I’m livid! Save your time, your money and your sanity! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

I have been a patient in the Stratford office for about 3 years. The office was good at first, I felt the dental staff were competent . Then about a year ago, New dentists, and while most of the staff were still there you could see a difference in care. I had a periodontal cleaning ( which I've had before) and I mentioned i had a tooth that was bothering me a little. The cleaning was the fastest I've ever had, that should have been a red flag.
Later that evening it started to hurt. I called Monday to come in and after an xray and exam I was told I needed a root canal through my cap. An appointment was made for a week later with a endontist. I found another appointment with a different Dr. The next day and I did not need a root canal, my gum area was so infected .
And he had to do another cleaning in that area because of debris that was not cleaned properly the first time. I wouldn't go into the details but I'm now on heavy antibiotics. This infection was missed by a hygienist and the female Dr on 2 separate appointments.

I used to come here 2019-2023 and would not recommend. I had a failed root canal here and they couldn’t fix the issue when I said it still hurt years after the procedure. Another time a male dentist kept hitting on me and made very uncomfortable, he said he could even out my teeth and make them prettier.
He filed them, little did I know that would lead to years of problems (sensitivity, pain, now an open-bite creating a lisp). DONT COME HERE

The only reason I am giving this place two stars instead of one is because most of the staff was extremely kind and patient to me as someone with sensory concerns with the dentist— from the front desk staff to the dentist herself. However, there’s the most obnoxious and incompetent old lady keeping those tropes alive and well was super talkative and touchy in a weird way and she needed helps for simple x-rays blaming software and stating how experienced she is. It is clear it’s time for her to retire and I privately asked for her to not be part of my fillings.
The main issue was that when I was finished with the fillings I went to my car and saw in the mirror gross brown lines all over my two front teeth that have NEVER been there before. I am shocked they let me leave the office BOTCHED! I went back inside they immediately saw me and heard my concern and “fixed it” to an extent after blaming a bunch of random things like gum bleeding which has happened at every previous filling and dental appointment I’ve had before. I honestly think the mistake probably happened when manic old lady came in the doorway yapping about other patients with a lot of judgement about some bad case in another room.
She came by and was talking and distracting her right during the filling. Anyway my mom paid thousands of dollars for me to have a good smile and now my front teeth are stained by this practice in 3 hours.
