I always have good experience, Dr. Wu is amazing, very kind, compassionate and thorough. She always reminds me that she prefers proactive approach and gives me recommendations for how to keep my teeth healthy rather than needing to fix them. Stag is always pleasant and helpful. It has been years since I last visited Dr. Yingjie Lisa Wu, and I feel compelled to share my experience. After my first cleaning at her office, I started hearing similar stories from others who had been treated there. Many patients reported being told they suddenly had multiple dental issues, cavities, “deep-set” molars that needed filling to prevent future cavities, or that they were grinding their teeth at night. In my case, Dr. Wu insisted I was grinding my teeth, even though I knew for a fact that I wasn’t. What stood out to me was that most people who had this experience (myself included)had Husky insurance. It feels like she is abusing the insurance system.

For example, she recommended a sleeping retainer and even told me in advance that my insurance would likely deny the claim, saying I’d receive a yellow letter in the mail. When the denial came through, her office immediately called and pressured me to dispute it. I declined, but they called me 4–5 more times asking if I had completed the paperwork. That was a huge red flag for me. I ended up skipping my next appointment because I realized this office does not prioritize patients’ oral health, it prioritizes making money. When I switched to a new dentist, I specifically asked if he thought I was grinding my teeth. His answer? “Absolutely not. ” When I mentioned Dr.

Wu, he said he had seen multiple patients who had left her office seeking a second opinion. DO NOT GO HERE. This office does not care about your health,only your wallet (and insurance 🙃)… Response to the owner: typical response to someone who gave you a bad review, “you’re not in our data base”. Yes I WAS a client… I also know you didn’t try to look me up because how are you supposed to find someone based on their nickname and not the full name. I still have the paperwork from when I was a client that I’ll be updating this review with a photo of it later. Don’t try and fool your clients. Insurance fraud will get you.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Lisa Wu since 2013, and she’s the best dentist I’ve ever had. She’s skilled, gentle, and truly cares about her patients. Thanks to her, my dental health is always top-notch. The entire team is kind and professional—I always feel well cared for. Highly recommend!
