I had contacted Dental Transformations because I wanted a second opinion on a possible root canal. I initially had X-rays done at 757 Endodontics in Chesapeake. I didn't feel comfortable with what I was told and considering I live in E. C. I decided to try someone local.

I liked their overall rating and reviews. I was able to get an appointment on March 7th and my root canal (it was necessary) was done in one appointment. I was treated by Dr. Karina Dick and her assistant Amy and I couldn't have been in better hands! I appreciated how Dr. Dick kept me informed and Amy took great care of me! I have tremendous anxiety and trust issues with dentists and I was surprised at how calm and relaxed I was through my root canal procedure.

I had very slight pain in the evening and then I was fine until I could get my permanent crown put on at my dentist. Kudos to Dr. Dick and Amy who did an outstanding job! I highly recommend them! The whole experience from my initial phone call, procedure and dealing with reception/checkout was positive!

I couldn’t wait to write this review!!!! First off… All medical facilities should have a Tamia!!! She is warm, genuine, kind and caring! She puts you at ease the second you get in the “chair”. LOVE HER! Doc was amazing and gives the absolute best Novocain shot I’ve ever had in my life.

He takes his time and is super gentle, all the while asking if you’re ok! Highly recommend this practice!
