Dr. Rezel has been my regular dentist for 5+ years and is always very nice and able to see me on short notice sometimes. Cannot think of anyone else working on my teeth!

Dr. Rezel was our family dentist for a while. After my husband and I got married, he went in for a long overdue teeth cleaning. We had recommended Dr. Rezel to him as his family was close with my mom and grandmother growing up, but my husband was really unhappy with how rushed the doctor made him feel. This office also cannot do anything beyond teeth cleaning and x-rays so we ended up switching to someone else who can provide more care. Fast forward to the past few months -- My grandmother had been complaining of tooth pain for months.

We kept taking her in to see Dr. Rezel. He dismissed her, gave her antibiotics, and sent her on her way. She said she felt rushed and like he wasn't fully examining her. On the last visit, he became visibly shocked at what he saw when my mom insisted he take a second look on the other side of the tooth. She ended up at the emergency dentist at ECMC. She had a massive anomoly, open sore, in her mouth.

The words from the doctor there when they were told that she'd been to 3 times prior was "Did he even look in her mouth?" Today we found out it was cancerous. He missed a cancerous lesion in her mouth THREE TIMES because he wouldn't slow down and care for his patient, and we lost precious time getting her the treatment she needed. I hope that she's able to get the care she needs and is able to recover, but shame on Dr. Rezel for his inattention. Turns out my husband's hunch was right -- He doesn't care, and is not willing to give his patients the time and attention needed when it matters most.
