Actually very disappointed. They couldn't treat my child because they wanted to use laughing gas. My child couldn't have laughing gas because he ate a snack before going. Nobody mentioned to me or my husband that he shouldn't eat before coming. The timing of the appointment was very inconvenient but that was the only time available. A big waste of time! :(

We had an appointment for my son to get a filling. They canceled the appointment due to the office being closed. It got rescheduled at the Howell office. Was the worst expierence, due to staff and doctor. At this point my son had pain. The doctor didn’t even look in his mouth to look to see how bad the cavity was.

They also were screaming at him to “bite down” on the camera while taking the picture. My son also is diagnosed with autism but he is high functioning. he has had pictures taken before, and he can bite down. At this point his sensory was on overload due to the loud voices for them telling him to bite down. She refused to do any treatment and he would have to be sedated. Sent us away with an antibiotic.

So I decided to call the Jackson office and they got him in the next morning and there staff was more kind and gentle and patient. The doctor talked my son step by step through each step where he ended up getting a tooth extracted and had no problem getting pictures taken. Dr Ambica was the howell doctor who refused to do any treatment. Nor did she look in my sons mouth to see what was causing him pain. I hope she sees this review and maybe thinks twice about the way she treats a child especially with a disability or just in general.

Horrible experience! I brought my 4 year older daughter in due to severe unbearable tooth pain. They said it’s a cavity and they can’t fill it because she was acting up. They did not help me at all- they said you call the surgical team (for anesthesia) and deal with it.

They couldn’t make one phone call or ensure that I get an immediate appointment. I called the surgical team all day on Friday- no answer. I kept calling the office and no one could help me - while my daughter screamed in pain.

The whole Saturday she cried and cried! Their office is closed till Tuesday for Memorial Day. So now, she’ll have to suffer! (I came on Friday, after a few days of her tooth pain- I won’t be able to even speak to a live person till Tues!) Extremely irresponsible for not filling cavity or ensuring that it is filled immediately (within a few days at least!) I ended up finding an amazing caring dentist who took me on Sunday, filled a root canal, filling, and put a silver cap! She was so sweet and my daughter feel amazing! No anesthesia necessary! Just a little patience for little kids :)

Such an amazing staff. My 5 year old has a hard time listening and is figity. She was having a hard time biting down on the camera for her xray and they worked with her with such patience. The staff where so sweet with her and made the whole experience wonderful. Very happy to have my child be a patient there.
