Have cleaning a year ago. It was OK. It would be better if Dr Cheung gave me more rinse breaks (it's quite tired to open the mouth for extended time!). Maybe he just wanted to finish fast and take more patients.

My whole family used to visit Dr. SF Cheung for annual tooth cleanings many years ago. However, that's no longer the case. I'd like to share my past experience, even though it was some time ago. I had been going for annual cleanings and check-ups with Dr. Cheung, and was never informed of any tooth decay until the very last year's checkup.

Suddenly, Dr. Cheung informed me that I had ten cavities and needed to have them all filled. This raised questions about what I might have been doing or eating during that period that led to such poor dental hygiene. I didn't have insurance, but he offered a cash payment with a discount. Without a doubt, I sought out another dentist for my annual checkup. Even now, over ten years later, not a single dentist has mentioned any decay.

His practices were very questionable. Every time I sat down for my cleaning and examination, I was informed (often in a rushed manner while my mouth was open for cleaning) that my teeth were exceptionally dirty, and I would be charged extra. Did I have the option to decline right then and there? I continued with my annual cleanings elsewhere, and I'm now happy with my current dentist. I consider myself fortunate to have found a more professional and skilled dentist.
