The staff scheduled a 4 p.m. appointment for the late afternoon, but when you drove there after work, the provider told me she was done for the day and that she would merely check teeth and reschedule.The staff said are rescheduling for three to four months from now, which is really unpleasant and she is rude too. It appears this to charge insurance with hardly any service.

I made an appointment in November and was given a date for a March appointment three or four months later. However, I was informed the day before the appointment was canceled because the doctor had another appointment, and I was not provided with a new date for March. One more subpar service.

Disappointed and Deeply Concerned with Recent Visit We’ve been bringing our son to Dr. Peter Duca’s office for a few years and had, up until now, been relatively satisfied with the care. However, our recent experience has left us extremely disappointed and questioning the ethics and professionalism of this practice. During our son’s annual visit, Dr. Jill—an assistant dentist at the practice—found a cavity on our 5-year-old’s tooth. Since this wasn’t his first filling, we scheduled a follow-up appointment to have it treated, assuming it would go as smoothly as before. To our surprise and dismay, during the procedure, our son was in visible and intense pain. He was screaming and wailing—something completely uncharacteristic for him, especially since he had no issues during his previous dental work. The situation escalated to the point that staff asked my wife to physically restrain him by holding down his legs. My wife, alarmed, requested a numbing agent to alleviate his pain, but Dr.

Jill refused, stating that only a dentist could authorize it. This turned out to be misleading, as Dr. Jill herself is a licensed dentist. Despite my wife’s repeated concerns and pleas, Dr. Jill continued the procedure without applying any numbing cream. This blatant disregard for a child’s pain and a parent’s concern is unacceptable. When I called the office to speak directly with Dr. Duca about what had happened, Dr. Jill answered the phone. Without even allowing me to explain why I was calling, she informed me that as the attending doctor, she would not let me speak with Dr.

Duca. This level of gatekeeping and lack of accountability was shocking. This experience has been deeply upsetting. It’s disappointing to see how quickly a long-standing patient can be dismissed when raising valid concerns about the care received. Our trust has been broken, and we will no longer be returning. I’m sharing this review not out of anger, but to warn other parents. Please think carefully before bringing your child here—no parent should have to see their child in unnecessary pain or be dismissed when seeking answers.

I just got partials, fillings, and an extraction. The staff are all great and very friendly. Dr Duca is not only hilarious but he is a great dentist. I can't thank him and his team enough. Soo one more time thank you Dr Duca! You helped me big time.
