By far the best dental practice I’ve been to! First of all, it’s a walk away from where I live, so that’s insanely convenient. Secondly, I was surprised to see some reviews complaining about the staff here…I’ve only experienced them to be friendly, fast, and efficient from the front desk on. And I’m happy to point out that this is an office ran entirely by women!!! As a woman myself, there is something so comforting and badass about a practice full of women in a historically male-dominating field 💪🏻😎 In terms of the dental work, it’s clear to me that Dr. Kim values and practices minimally invasive dentistry which I have learned is by far the best approach. She wants to restore and save your teeth, she enjoys what she does, she’s excellent at what she does, and she’s rightfully confident in her work. Recently, I was terrified to get a root canal. Dr. Kim always says I can tell her if I feel any pain, any discomfort, need a break, etc.

She is happy to use a bite block with me since my TMJ syndrome makes it difficult for me to keep my mouth wide open for long periods of time. Additionally, her specific technique of injecting novocaine made it to where I didn’t even realize she had done it already! Obviously I felt a pinch, but the way she sort of wiggles your lip around (and I’m not sure what the science is behind that) but WOW does it make that part WAY easier than it has been for me in the past. Afterward, I was pleasantly surprised at the very minimal amount of pain and swelling. I was back to normal very quickly! They’ve also addressed my bruxism by fitting me for a night guard. Lastly, in response to some other comments…yes, she moves quickly. But I find that to be a testament to her experience and her confidence. I, for one, do not want to spend forever on the chair, so I enjoy that aspect of her style. Her assistant (I think her name is Kelly, sorry I’m bad with names) is very kind and knowledgeable, and was always happy to answer any remaining questions I had.

I’ve also called between appointments to ask questions before, and had no issue getting answers quickly. Also, yes, she stays busy. However, that doesn’t bother me at all and to me, that’s just another sign of her excellence. She wouldn’t be busy if people didn’t return to her for more quality care, right? 😜 Overall, my anxiety about going to the dentist has been reduced significantly since coming here. I thank all of the staff for that. I would recommend East Falls family dentistry to anyone! 🦷

I really appreciate when a dentist doesn’t push procedures or extras on you—it makes you feel like you can trust them! Dr Kim was knowledgeable and efficient and super gentle with my two year old. The office accommodates small children very well. Highly recommend!

Dr. Kim is the best! She does things so quickly and neatly, and even all the other staff are so nice and careful! I don’t remember his name, but there was a young handsome man, and he was so nice and very helpful! Best dental office I’ve ever visited!
