Detailed Introduction

Fairmount primary care Center (FPCC) is a medical facility located at 1412 Fairmount Ave in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is a clinic that operates as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) under the umbrella of Delaware Valley Community Health, Inc. (DVCH). The center was established in 1986 after a renovation of an old auto parts warehouse. Since then, it has expanded its clinical space to accommodate the needs of a diverse, and predominantly African American and Latino, community. FPCC offers a comprehensive suite of services that go beyond typical primary care. These services include adult and family medicine, pediatrics, dental care, and gynecology. The clinic also provides specialized services such as behavioral health, HIV and Hepatitis C care, and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for Opioid Use Disorder. The center has been recognized as a Pennsylvania Opioid Use Disorder Center of Excellence. In addition to medical services, the clinic offers care coordination, health education, and assistance with health insurance enrollment, demonstrating a holistic approach to patient care. The presence of Elarbi Elamin A DDS indicates that dental services are a key part of the care provided at this location. The center's mission is to provide accessible and affordable healthcare to the community, and it is a walk-in clinic for urgent care needs, while also accepting appointments for other services. It serves a large number of patients annually, with a facility that includes multiple adult and pediatric exam rooms, as well as dental chairs. FPCC is a vital part of the local healthcare landscape, committed to serving the needs of the Philadelphia community.

Worst dental experience! They billed my insurance for work that they did not do and lied!

This is the worst experience every. I have been waiting for about 6 months to get my teeth cleaned. The day of my cleaning, they cancelled because some machine went down, and told me I have to wait 3 more month. A week later they told me no one was available the day I was scheduled and tacked on another month.

This place is the absolute worst, I haven't experienced anything like it. Don't go here if you have an other choice.

Improved over the years but made many mistakes in the past. It seems they got rid of a lot of the rude dentist. Growing up going here when I was a kid I had a rude lady and although I stopped having her I saw she still worked there . I know nothing about doctors here . Dentist I had currently was Abreo .

He does listen when told an issue but I do feel like when he worked on one tooth & the roughness of the procedure being performed had the tools hitting another tooth actually multiple teeth , too aggressive but the dentist will listen to complaints when made. I stayed at this place more so because of history but I see the reviews are low and there aren’t really any. The dentist is accommodating when told so be sure to say something but if not they will just treat you like you’re not a human being it will feel more experimental. They have a lot more new staff , more women so that’s good and I think they’re working towards improvements so that’s a plus at least .
