Going to the dentist was very fearful for me. I had the same dentist for 35 years and then her retired. I had lots of difficulty finding a new dentist. With a few very bad experiences. I had a very wonderful experience at family dentistry of Poplar Bluff.

I The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable. They guided me through every step and was very gentle. I'm very happy! They are worth the wait of getting established with them. Thank you so much for your kindness and help!

Made an appointment in June of 2024 for their first available new patient appointment/cleaning. The appointment was for March 31 of 2025. So 9 months in advance. The day of my appointment I take the whole day off work to make sure i can go. I get an automated text a few hours before to contact them. They tell me that whoever was going to do my appointment isn’t there and we will have to reschedule.

No biggie, except the next appointment is October 2nd 2025. I understand waiting for an appointment at a repeatable dentist but i waited 9 months to be cancelled and then rescheduled 7 months even later. Kinda ridiculous. If you have that many patients maybe you shouldn’t accept anymore? Definitely won’t be going back. I will say the lady on the phone was very nice that’s why the one star.

I could tell my hygienist Debbie loves her job within the first few minutes of speaking with her. She was thorough throughout the entire appointment, describing every step and procedure providing me with an easy, stress free experience. Samantha at the desk was personable and patient with me as I scheduled my next appointment. Happy to have found such a welcoming office!

First I want to recognize that I had an appointment set for the end of August but was call in June 24th, that is a giving plus. I haven't been to see a Dentist in years so I was quite overwhelmed in this visit. They were very prompt in getting me seen and very attentive in meeting my needs. The person that worked on me knew her job well and was very pleasant and carried herself professionally.

The Dentist explain his therapy treatment plan and proceeded to explain what this plan consisted of. I felt calm and at ease because they included me in their treatment plan and answer my questions.
