Every time I've been here, I wait ATLEAST an hour past my scheduled appointment. Today, my appointment was at 2pm. I had a "splinter" from one of the teeth they pulled and it was causing pain. I had to pick my kids up from school at 3:20, and told them. They took me back an hour late at 3pm and "numbed" me for 45 MINUTES. I did NOT need to sit that long.

It was a very simple "procedure". It took 2 minutes to complete. Literally. So yeah, I'm mad Point is, they're on their own time. They don't care about a schedule. The front desk was nice and just as confused as I was.

Edit: So, I was just leaving my appointment when I posted the original, and I was really upset I was so late to pick my kids up. I 100% based my stars on the time issue and didn't "review" the entire process with them. I just wanted to add that the time issue was the only thing I had an issue with. Other than that they were really good. Getting my teeth pulled went really smooth (and my teeth are bad) and they were really good with follow up.

I highly recommend First State. I had an excellent experience. I was greeted with a smile in the waiting room. The wait time was only 15 minutes. The assistant who took me back was friendly and professional. After explaining the procedure, she asked if i had any questions or concerns. The oral surgeon was respectful and efficient. The surgeon explained everything he was doing, as he was removing 2 wisdom teeth.

After the procedure the surgon explained in detail follow up care, and what to do if there is a problem. He asked if I had any questions about follow up care. All the staff were patient and kind. Pre and post instructions were explained in detail. I was also given a form with step by step instructions for pre and post surgery care. Everyone from the moment I walked in addressed me by name, were respectful and professional. I will be returning for all my dental surgery needs.

Dr. Pancko is the G. O. A. T! Two weeks ago I had 5 teeth pulled and they were all impacted.

Dr. P and his team explained EVERYTHING they were going to do, what the expectations would be for me post-op, and all the info I would need to contact them. I was very nervous, ( I've rescheduled this appointment more times than I'll ever admit) but after this experience felt responsible to tell others, if you're like me and not thrilled about "going under", this is the place to put your mind at ease. Thank you to the wonderful ladies that helped get everything set up on surgery day, and THANK YOU DR. PANCKO!
