I recently moved to Florence, SC and needed urgent dental care. After attempting to contact half a dozen other dentists in my insurance preferred network with no luck getting through or receiving calls back, I found myself back to Google looking for anyone who would answer their phone and give me an appointment. They answered right away, with great professionalism and kindness, and offered me the earliest appointment available which would be the following week. I asked for them to call me if anything opened up sooner because of the pain I was/am in. They called me back shortly after the initial call and said they could see me if I could come in right away. After some discovery and multiple X-rays, and a fancy shmancy CT scan, they still couldn’t determine the exact cause.
At this time I took a moment to myself in the bathroom because I felt defeated and overwhelmed. After drying my tears and calming myself I returned to the room and waited for Dr. Ta to come back. Dr. Miller came in to give his opinion and offered some possible hypotheses and his idea of what might be the culprit of my anguish. They numbed the area where I was in pain and determined a root canal to be necessary.
This was today, November 19, 2021. I look forward to returning and having a root canal (not something one May usually say, am I right?!) and finally combing the source of my tooth pain. Dr. Ta and the office staff were so kind, caring, understanding, and willing to do whatever they could to help me and for their kindness I will be forever grateful. If you’re looking for a dentist in the Florence area, I highly recommend these beautiful people!!
