I’ve been going to Foothills Dental for several years now. The staff is always a delight, including the hygienists and dentists. They’re not pushy, they’re professional and they’re personable. They’ve never been rough with me and stop if I “grunt” or make an “I’m uncomfortable” noise while I’m in the chair. I definitely recommend this dental office.

Awful experience. I’ve been here three times and waited over 30 minutes to be seen every time. The front desk staff acted like answering any questions was a huge inconvenience. I got a filling that caused constant pain for three weeks. At my follow-up, I was told to “just wear my night guard” and given excuses because the X-ray looked fine — but no real solution.

I ended up going to a different dentist, was seen within 5 minutes, had the filling redone, and the pain disappeared — clearly, the filling had been the issue. I had to pay out of pocket to fix it since it was a second procedure. This place was a complete waste of time and money. I never felt appreciated as a patient — I felt like a nuisance any time I asked a question or expected a reasonable wait time.

I’ve been going to Mary Huffman’s office since I moved here about seven years ago and I won’t be going there anymore completely because of the office manager, Brittany. Dr. Huffman and her hygienists are fantastic but not once have I dealt with someone so rude and disrespectful in that office before as Brittany is. I’ve never had somebody try to cancel my appointment without talking to me first, but yeah, apparently that’s a new policy.

I was not a fan of her lack of apology either and rudeness over the phone. Not once have I ever missed an appointment with this office and I’ve always called to reschedule if I’ve had to.

Great service, great hygienists and Mary Huffman is great too, however, I must say they hounded me about my updated insurance card before I even arrived. Had to go out in the rain to my car to get my insurance card while at work 4 hrs before I was supposed to be there. I had never encountered that before. A little too pushy in my opinion. May be switching soon.
