If I could give less than a one star review, I would. Over the phone, I mentioned that I have seizures, and was also told that I would be able to do a smaller down payment for my oral procedure. At the appointment, I was told to hand my belongings to my partner and wait for the doctor to arrive, and I did. I waited for two hours, nearly three, only to be told they wouldn’t do the procedure because of my seizures. I understand that seizures can be a liability but there was a complete lack of communication and I felt extraordinarily disrespected by the lack of care I was given, and how nonchalant they were about not being able to proceed with the procedure.
Dr. Simoni said she understood my frustration, but she absolutely cannot understand the frustration of requesting time off from work, scraping together the money, and waiting for three hours in an empty room with no devices, after food and water fasting for twelve hours, only to be told that I cannot get the procedure after I was clear over the phone days prior about my seizures. Not to mention the fact that after waiting for two hours, I was told I could no longer do a smaller down payment, and had to pay half of the procedure upfront instead. Horrible communication, horrible wait times, all to still be in pain. But oh wait! To avoid being sued, I was told I could still go through with the procedure—with no anesthesia.
Because getting four teeth ripped out of my head with no anesthesia is my version of a good time. Still in shock from the entire experience, and I will absolutely not be returning, even when I get my seizures ‘resolved’.

I had my wisdom teeth extracted here today. I was a bit nervous as I don't go to the dentist very often but this was a very clean clinic where they were super friendly and extremely informative. They asked if I'd like a blanket for the procedure and even helped me into my vehicle instead of leaving my spouse to do it. This clinic is amazing and would highly recommend to anyone.

I went here last November for a new patient visit. I had gone to this dentist previously from 2017-2019 and had a great experience. However, things had changed. It was the worse dental experience I have encountered. The tech taking x-rays had no idea what they were doing and because of it I had to redo every xray multiple times. Then there was the interaction with the dentist - she was poking my gums with a metal tool in one spot for over a minute and it hurt. I stopped her and told her I had been to the dentist many times before and had never been subjected to action of the sort.
Her reply, "you have some swelling. " Their recommended next steps after the appointment included multiple cavities being filled. There was no way I was going back there for anything. I waited until my insurance would cover another cleaning and went somewhere else. At the new place, every x-ray went well, I did have one small cavity that they had to fill and I didn't get my gums poked. Then there's inappropriateness of their billing. Seems their business wasnt fully in order on the accounting side either.
They didn't communicate that I would be getting funds from my insurance that I would then have to pay to them for the appointment. Instead, they started harassing me with multiple calls, texts and emails every day demanding payment. Finally I called the office and got a full, real explanation instead of the debt collector type service they had contacting me. If they would've done a better job of communicating, I would have paid them as soon as I confirmed with my insurance. It was literally a horrible experience. The receptionist and the person who answered the phone when I recently called (maybe the same person?) was/were helpful and friendly.

Dr. Sharhan is incredible, I’m so so happy I came back after a bad experience with the former dentist, Dr Hernandez. Dr.
Sharhan pays attention to your needs and any concerns, and I’m someone with really healthy teeth, but she still took the time to really examine me and be sure my teeth were plaque-free! The office staff is great and it’s really convenient to make appointments through the smile generation app. I’m glad I finally found a great dentist in stl!!
