Dr Buddula and his assistant Amanda win my praise for the excellent extraction and tooth replacement preparation they did for me today. My tooth broke off and I was not hopeful of being seen immediately. But not only did they fit me into their schedule with one day’s lead time, they made the procedure pain-free and pleasant.

They even extended their work session with me to make the replacement process proceed as fast as possible.

I was referred from the Redmond branch since they didn't do the extractions anymore. After reviewing some preliminary plan, I was suggested to do the Collection/Application Audtologous Blood Concentrat which the nurse "strongly recommended" and it would expedite my healing and of course it'd be covered by insurance. I was told this procedure was optional, and I made my decision based on the assumption that it was covered—based on the estimate the team provided. Had I known this wouldn’t be covered, I absolutely would’ve chosen not to do it. I already paid around $400 to only extract four of my wisdom teeth on the same day after the treatment (I thought that's already a lot but I really wanted to get it done, my wife extracted her 3 wisdom teeth last year for $30) and after a few days I got another bill for another $480 saying the optional treatment was not covered by the insurance.

The lack of insurance verification directly led to this unexpected bill. I checked with my insurance and they said the dentist didn't send any Confirmation of Treatment and Cost (predetermination) request for the coverage verification. So they blindly made the assumption, "strongly recommended" to me and did the treatment for me. I'm going back and forth with them on this for another month and was told that portion is on me now. I will pursue the options with consumer attorney, state dental board or BBB.

This is not a trusted dental provider. EDIT: The practice manager I talked to was very helpful and mentioned checking with insurance for the coverage verification is straightforward and easy to do. She helped me adjust my unexpected bill. Changing my rating to 4.

This was my first time with this clinic. I was pleasantly surprised with the entire experience. The online booking process was so easy. Since I was a new patient, they sent a comprehensive medical/dental that I filled out online before my appointment. When I arrived for my appointment, I was quickly checked in. The person at the front desk explained what I was going to have and what my insurance would or would not cover and precisely what my cost would be. I was called back right on time.

Imaging was done. The procedures were explained and the tech was as gentle as possible. I appreciated that! The doctor came in, introduced herself and explained what she was going to do. After the exam, she explained in detail the results of the exam, what it all meant, and what the next steps should be. I was blown away by the professionalism projected by everyone in the clinic.

Mr. Nate

I have visited the Mill Creek Gentle Dental three times and have been impressed with the service I received each visit. Everyone has been kind and helpful and the staff that I have worked with have all been excellent. After the extractions that I received my teeth and gums healed much faster than I expected.

Also of note is that the folks here seem to like their work and it gives the place a friendly vibe. Thankful that I found it.
