On the day of my child's second appointment with this office, I received a voicemail informing me that my insurance was no longer accepted and they were cancelling the appointment. We would have gladly gone the self pay route but weren't even given the chance. Had they contacted us earlier than the day of the appointment, this could have been sorted out. Parents already have enough on their plates, and finding dental care for kids is hard enough.

. . thanks for making it even harder.

It’s really sad, the actual dentist and their assistants are really nice and I love them. What multiple other people are saying which Dr. Gerstenmaier apparently doesn’t care about is the receptionist. She is beyond rude and I have never caused any problems just talk to her nicely and she’s rude every single time.

Today I went to schedule his 6 months appointment and she rudely yelled that no she wasn’t going to schedule him because my insurance hasn’t paid them in months. How about you contact me about the non payment issue ahead of time so I can discuss with my insurance? After today I don’t think I’ll be returning simply because of the receptionist I’m almost in tears I’m so upset about it. Can’t believe he doesn’t care about her running off business.

Excellent pediatric dentists! My son has the biggest fear of dental work. . . these guys are amazing with him, have been going here since he was 3yrs, now 10yrs old. I'll also add that I used to work for a dental office that had a pediatrics department so I know a good dentist when I see one! I'm also impressed with the receptionist, she runs the front desk all by herself & has for many years.

I don't have to worry when I call that I'm getting one of 10 receptionists who don't know me or my son or our situation. Update. . I couldn't find anywhere to get my son's tooth extracted without it being 3 months out & they found us the nicest place to go & they had his tooth out within 30 days instead 3 to 4 months. I can't say enough good things about this place.

Especially because my son is plagued with dental carries. Thank you to both Dr. Gerstenmaier's, you guys are the best of the best! I felt the need to update again to say that my son has medicaid insurance & they've always gotten us in the next day when he's in pain. I've never felt like they discriminate because of my insurance.

My son is non verbal autistic with very high anxiety. He absolutely hates to brush his teeth or have anyone look in his mouth. These dentists are absolutely the most patient and loving team I've ever seen
